Avengers:Infinity War ***Spoilers***

Ok got cha, I'm new to this marvel shit but kinda got a understand...

I'm sure they have someone that can deal with Thanos....

Would he be that tough without those stones, I'm guessing no but I have to ask

Well, in the comics Thanos is one of the most powerful dudes in the universe without the gloves.. He is just under the power levels of cosmic beings like Galactus, InBetweener, Love & Hate, etc.. He can go toe to toe with any of the gods - Zeus, Odin, etc and beat them on most days. He's only ever run from one fight that I know of, and that was from Tyrant. Most of the time, Thanos doesn't fight most of his enemies, he just outsmarts them as he is the smartest or 2nd smartest person in the universe.. He also has a mastery of magic or mysticism also,, he just doesn't use it as much....

that was quick

Great movie...but for those of us who came late to rhe Marvel party, it was confusing. Like on some "can't tell the players without a scorecard" ish.

Is there a book, article, or website that breaks down the entire saga, how pieces from other movies fit into the saga, and who the characters - major and minor - are, for those of us who don't have time to read all of the comic books or watch all of the previous movies?

If there was a reference guide, it would be a terrific resource for old heads, and bring new people up to speed for a better understanding of the most story.

Apocalypse was in xmen? I thought they fought Ivan ooze

There is no apocalypse movie like there is no blade 3 or house party 4/5

you get a beer, on me

it’s funny...the theater I was in...everyone got the squidward reference but hardly anyone got the “grimace” one

young'ins

So the one thing that stood out to me is how different this movie would of been if it was made a little later. One of the reasons TAhor was in this one so much was because of how well Ragnorok did and Marvel wanting to jump on that. This movie was filmed about the same time as Black Panther. If this movie was pushed back even 6 months I guarantee that we'd have a lot more of Okoye, Shuri and Black Panther.

agreed

The scene where he kills Loki...the expressions and the way he looks at him and over to Thor. Man this shit is light years beyond that DC Chewed bubblegum bullshit. The whole movie I'm lookin at the detail they put in his expressions and movements.

Fixed

Just back from seeing it. Holy fuck! WTH?! Gotta wait 2 years for a fucking conclusion! Damn!

cats are saying next year...that’s still a long ass wait tho lol

Marvel made the announcement when they laid out the plans for phase 3. When they filmed Infinity War they were also filming the next Avengers movie, that's why it's coming out a year later.

cool...I wonder what flicks will drop before the conclusion...I know antman & wasp are scheduled and captain marvel

Just came back and thought it was good! Visually was great. Honestly i think im over the save the universe movies. I enjoyed Black Panther & Spiderman more because of the more personal storylines.

Loved how Thanos was portrayed! Did not expect that. The fact that you KNOW all the characters will be brought back to life kind of makes thier deaths feel empty.

Great movie. I NEED to see this again, so much was happening on the screen I was scrambling trying to process it all and look out for any Easter eggs.

Could you reasonably make BP2, GOTG3 and Spiderman 2 and have them all take place before the events of Infinity War?

Man this one thing my moms told me last nite....

She was weak, she I don't want to say yo much but I gotta say this....

"That big purple man, beat the hulk so bad, Banner kept trying to get him to come out and dude ain't want none"

Hulk ain't want no more of Thanos after the first 10 minutes of the movie. That was a one epic ass whooping.:roflmao:

yea i hope loki stay dead  i don't see them bringing back quicksilver

Loki has already died or looked like he died twice and came back. I still think the MCU has a problem with death so I can see them bringing him back. We already know Spiderman and the Guardians are coming back, so why not Loki.

Hell man, they could bring back the warriors 3, quicksilver, Heimdall, and Uncle Ben and I wouldn't question it. These movies are amazing but death is as meaningless here as they are in comic books now.

It feels like Jean Grey or Professor X dying for the 10th times. You know that they're going to come back during the next big crossover event.

I'm hoping that the second movie ends with them using the reality stone to reboot the universe to include mutants and the Fantastic 4.

I don't think that MCU has a problem with death, it's just that the movie was based of the Infinty Quest/Infinity Gauntlet series. Everyone who read the series knows that Thanos killed/de-existed half of the universe... and everyone knows that those events will be reversed if keeping to the spirit of the storylines.. How the MCU pulls it off is the question..
