Avengers:Infinity War ***Spoilers***

I don't think it matters. Look at spiderman they only started the new reboot last year. Spiderman sequal has already been announced. He also disappeared/died. Same with StarLord, StarLord is the main charactor in gardens of the galaxy. Starlord is way too important for him not to come back

My Theory is the Captain American and IronMan will have to make a sacrifice they will die in the next movie too bring back the next generation of heroes.
I don't know why people keep saying they are dead. It's been explained several times in here.

That's the only thing I could think of, but we know what that was.

Fam, i was in so much shock last night i couldnt event come in here.

They did successfully was The Last Jedi tried to and failed at. Cleaning the slate aand starting over.

They either changed the game forever or killed the franchise. Tomorrow's reviews will let us know.

I will say i was completely locked down until the CPT Marvel sequence. Damn near pissed on myself but i was NOT moving.

I dont know what they're going to do next, but they got to have some next level shit on deck now.

In the comics, have Thanos ever fought along side the avengers against a bigger enemy?

he fought alongside the guardians of the galaxy and most marvel galactic heroes against the annihilation wave... even though drax killed him at the end.

Great movie...but for those of us who came late to rhe Marvel party, it was confusing. Like on some "can't tell the players without a scorecard" ish.

Is there a book, article, or website that breaks down the entire saga, how pieces from other movies fit into the saga, and who the characters - major and minor - are, for those of us who don't have time to read all of the comic books or watch all of the previous movies?

If there was a reference guide, it would be a terrific resource for old heads, and bring new people up to speed for a better understanding of the most story.

One other question for the veteran Marvel heads...do the movies follow the comic book storylines, deviate from them, or enhance the comic book storyline by adding more information?

can't follow the comics to a T, because they don't have all the characters. Silver Surfer was a key part. They had Hulk tell Strange about Thanos instead. No She Hulk. No Warlock (yet). And no X-Men.

but what they did get right is Thanos is not to be fucked with. That's the bottom line.

it follows the story substituting marvel character that they couldn't use with those they could. for example thanos only had a feeling of love for mistress death, in here they replaced that with his love for gamora.

adam warlock and his group lead the missions against thanos with all the marvel heroes, here it was the avengers.

nebula was thanos right hand but at one point stole the infinity gauntlet the obsidian order didn't exist at the time

the "tesseract" was never an infinity stone in marvel comics. the space stone was always the space stone, in the comics the tesseract is known as the cosmic cube. which was partially responsible for creating beings like adam warlock, ayisha(from second GOTG movie, etc)

update changes they made..

with the obsidian order.. black maw... i still don't understand but they gave black maw supergiants power and deleted her from the group completely. ebony maws power was he was a whisperer. he manipulated people.

You can read the cliff notes version of each of the previous films here.

Once again, thanks for answering the questions. I really want to follow the saga, but I didn't know where to start. I didn't want to ask the wrong person who would look at me like I'm stupid, as if I'm supposed to know all the characters and the storyline from birth.:D

again they are all coming back it's just a temporary thing....

the "all the black people gone" n shit y'all reaching. it's simply the original avengers cast and ant man are the one's that are left (and nebula which leads me to believe she'll be holding the gauntlet for a minute in the next movie)

Quick thoughts:

Best Comic book movie ever.

Thanos was multidimensional.

Marvel had balls to do what they did at the end.

The trailers didn't tell the story.

Red Skull was a DOPE surprise.
Man I just saw that in the Imax 4D:popcorn: Man that shit was banannas.Felt the wind rain.Best experience in a movie I've ever had.The Hulk shit was B.S but I figured it all out.We witnessed on of the 14 +Million realities that Dr.Strange saw where Thanos won.The next movie will be from the perspective of the Only reality where they vanquishe Thanos.Maybe the Hulk is the reason the Avengers triumphed in that instance????:hulksmash:

Man, Hulk got his ass beat and wouldn't come back out. Ending was cold. Thanos was a beast. Was like, "What up Tony Starks". Starks was shook he knew him. Strange has seen the future, he knows what happens. Thor was a fucking god with the axe. Put the axe in Thanos chest because he was in his feeling and wanted him to suffer. Should have offed him with a head shot. The reason they lost was because everybody was emotional. Scarlet Witch, Star Lord, and Thor all had a chance to end it but were too emotional.

Even if you feel that Marvel made a mistake killing BP, this gives Shuri a chance to step up as Queen. She was a fan favorite and helping to save her brother could make her a huge Marvel character in the future.

buying tickets now to go see it again today... had to go by myself the first time so i wouldn't be asked a 1000 questions by my wife. now we can go see it together.

I with they would have taken out the corny Doc Strange/Parker dialogue, though they changed it slightly. Some people in the movies laughed.

I'm like we've been seeing that shit for months :dunno:

"I'm Peter Park by the way. I'm Dr Strange. Oh, we are using made up names. Then my name is Spider Man." That shit was funny.

Yeah everybody knows they coming back in the next movie. Either the time stone or Tony bringing back tech from Titan.
