Avengers:Infinity War ***Spoilers***

Man the ending is a perfect setup for Secert Invasion...

Half the population disappears and when they come back are they who we think they are...

Man, when I watched it last night, right after Thanos chilled on the back porch and the lights went black, the theater was silent and some cat yelled out "FUCK" loud has hell, theater erupted in laughter and gave that dude a standing O.

Man hell yea
I did the AWWWWW HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NAWWWWWW

I'm say this as a newbie to this marvel shit....

Knowing what I know and what I dont know...I thought they did a great fucking job bring all these top notch characters into a 2hr and 30 minute film. Don't seem like to many folks were happy when Black Panther vanish.
My lil mama was like, "Oh no".

Thanos is a fucking problem, I see why the Hulk looked spooked on the poster.

Whoever is on the other end of the bleeper must be a bad mudda fucker...

Just got out of it and I can't believe that I'm actually disappointed. Like BvS levels of disappointed. I haven't checked out this whole thread yet but let me just say that fuck the end of this movie.

I get the potential tie in to secret invasion but even still, fuck this ending. For 10 years the biggest complaint about this universe is that death doesn't really hold any weight. I was so happy to see Helena taking people out in Thor. And the first 2 hours and 15 minutes of this movie felt like death finally had consequences. But they went WAY TOO FAR in those last couple minutes. Half the Guardians, Spider-Man, and the King. Fuck outta here.

I thought death may have be meaningless before, but now I know it beyond a doubt. Guardians vol 3 and Spider-Man Academic are already in pre-production. And Black Panther made over 1.5 billion and counting. NO WAY those characters are actually dead. Death doesn't mean a godamn thing in the MCU.

There could be a scene in Antman and Wasp where Scott gets shoot in the neck with a crossbow and gargles blood until he dies. And I'll feel nothing because it will be like, "remember that time Thanos 'killed' half of the galaxy and they just brought them all back in the next movie."

There are no more stakes left in the MCU. I'm low-key mad at the people in theater crying when characters were 'killed'. The King made 1.5 billion dollars. When he was 'deading' he minus whale had looked at camera, winked, and said see you next summer. There is zero chances in hell that they're killing off big money Panther. Wakanda forever!

To be clear, I don't hate this movie. I can't count the amount of cool shit in this movie. It amazing how they balanced so many different styles and genres into one movie. And we got character team ups that I didn't even realize how bad I wanted them until I saw it in this movie. Seeing Black Widow and Okoye team up almost made me jump out of the seat with joy.

But damn that ending makes me not want to see future movies. It's near impossible to have an action movie where they're aren't any stakes. And all future MCU movies are going to have to fight that uphill battle.

right...comic book characters “die” all the time...despite that this is still “newish” territory for the marvel studios universe and they handled it well...I’m an adult who’s been reading comics for almost 40 years and was expecting to see these “deaths” in the film and it was still a bit of a shock to actually see

Man it was refreshing to see Wakanda...
But man you need to go lay down bro, and chill out for a few hrs....

And you gotta remember too. Kids don’t pay attention/care about things like they are shooting Spider-Man 2 or Black Panther was already planning a sequel.

I'm not even arguing that fact. I'm smoking a blunt right now just to chill my nerves. :roflmao:
I both loved this movie with my whole heart and hated the ended at the same time. I legit feel confused a fuck right now. :roflmao::roflmao:
Mann that movie had me emotional too at the end. I didn't realize how great the movie was until later lmao.

Exactly. This is huge for a comic book movie. Fuckin Batman came back from death. BATMAN! How the fuck?! I just appreciate that they did it.

The Rubberband Man got that shit stuck in my head right now. Best comic book movie ever. Also DC could have had done Darkseid just like this because Thanos is just a knock off of him. hope they do a 4-Hour long extended version of this cuz I want to see everything that they cut. The Rubberband Man caaaannnn.

So D.C. Have the firepower to pull something off like this?

They do. And a final battle might even be better. But don't get you're hopes up.
You'd have people like Superman, Wonder woman, Green lantern, cyborg, Aquaman, flash,..... Their powers might be better than the current Avengers.

it’s “unique” little things like that which enhances the whole movie experience for these marvel studio films...meanwhile justice league was using songs from coors light commercials lol...and I’m not even hating on JL...watched it twice and thought it was a real good movie...but marvel does a lot of cool little shit that adds up to make it great

Now that I'm nice and high, I'm ready to go see this shit a second time already. I might fuck already and see it tonight.
I do have to commend the Russos and Marvel for being able to pull off handling so many characters without us ever stopping to question the logic.
Like imagine right after the first Cap movie came out and someone told you that Cap will eventually have a scene with a talking teen-aged tree. You would have said they were crazy.
But when those two cross paths here, I never questioned it.
-"I am Groot."
-"I am Steve Rodgers."

10 years ago that scene would have be stupid as fuck. But they made it work logically here to the point where that interaction was hilarious.

Just back from seeing it. Holy fuck! WTH?! Gotta wait 2 years for a fucking conclusion! Damn!
