great movie...gave me everything I expected and did the comic series absolute justice...the cast of GotG had me fucking *dead* in the theater...I literally spit water on myself @ one point...luckily I had 3 seats to myself and no one directly in front of me...I liked black panther better as I had more of an emotional “tie” to it...but great flick tho

A couple things:
1. strange used the time stone to see potential outcomes of the battle, i forgot how many millions of scenarios he had viewed but he did say there can be only one outcome. thats why he willingly gave thanos the stone, breaking his own oath to protect it.

2. I wasnt expecting thanos to get all the stones this movie, i thought they where going to drag it on.

3. When they had thanos tied up and almost removed the guantlet i was like what a moment to be alive to see this. fucklord fucked it up.

4. honeslty i dont thing captian marvel has the juice to take on thanos with the stones.

5. storm breaker aint no fucking joke.

Yeah Thor with the new hammer was a one man wrecking crew.

Also they touched on something they did in the comics. Dr Strange has alays been one of the most powerful characters in Marvel and you saw it with this movie too. His one on one with Thanos had him holding his own well.

If you saw the. Movie Dr strange and vision death its easily known that time can be reversed and things can go back to normal... Its already been reference twice... Now with them other stones the possibilities are endless.. Than on an economic standpoint no way the biggest marvel movie financially in bp doesn't get a sequel, guardians doesn't get a 3rd installment, Dr strange get a sequel, and spiderman also... Nobody really is thinks there all dead Jus's off those 2 factors alone... But for the sake of convo for this installment they are

His physiology should make that possible (Plus magic or whatever) when Strange, Sprider-man and Tony crashlanded on Titan, first thing I thought was (are they going to put on suits, or make some sort of bubble)...next scene they are just there....breathing....unprotected from the cold. The only thing I could figure was Titan's society (on that portion of the planet) created artificial Earthlike atmosphere?

When you look at it,
Thanos and Erik Killmonger pretty much had the same goal in regards to a sunrise.
That's a brilliant analogy in seeing beauty as the result of one's actions.
No more how detrimental those actions may be to others.

When EVERYONE side-eyed The Russo Brothers,
Once again, those Cats came through(though I didn't like "CIVIL WAR that much).
In what could have been a complete MESS,
Turned out to be a straight, coherent EPIC Near-Masterpiece.

Though it didn't register much with me on an emotional level like "BLACK PANTHER".
And again, we have imagery of once again, Black People trying to save the world.

That’s true, but he can get clumped quick if the fight doesn’t last. Case in point when Zeus whooped his ass or against Surtur. Plus Thanos had the power stone. You can’t lose a physical fight if you possess it.

4. The slight change in Thanos’ backstory was perfect.. it completely changes his character for the better to the point that I’m shocked that it wasn’t in the original Infinity gauntlet series. I never liked the Mistress Death obsessed Mad Titan. The comic Thanos had layers but he was mainly pure supervillian. This Thanos had heroic concepts.... he honestly felt that what he was doing was for the greater good of us all and that every death was a sacrifice to reach that course. It makes sense for the Children of Thanos be his followers... they viewed his course as the just and right course. I loved how he didn’t take joy at killing. His killed out of this is the universes course and not out of pure blood lust.. Which made his pure love for Gamora genuine. This slight change actually redefines all of Thanos’ actions since we first saw him at the end of Thor. He is probably one of my all time favorite villians... Josh Brolin Killed this shit. Villians work so much better when they truly feel that they are the hero of their story.
