Cowboys Getting Ready to Release Dez

Skins or giants?

Most likely skins.... they have slightly more cap space than the Eagles....more of a need for a WR and an Owner who loves making big splashes taking formerly great players past their prime

Giants have no cap space and are threatening their own young star receiver because he's involved in too much drama....how would they look taking this older less effective headcase?

He didn't get it until it was too late. He thought he could just rely on his physical talents.
Shannon Sharpe has been ripping on him for that for the longest but all dude kept thinking was that Shannon was hating when it was really just the absolute truth. Shannon knows what he's talking about as a receiver

First their fans had to deal with these two on ESPN last night now this

That would be my bet. I think he fits best on GB, but I feel like he'll get picked up by the Pats
I told ya yrs ago dez should've went to greenbay.. He wasted his best yrs on Dallas... Him and Rodgers def prob would've won a Superbowl by now... I Jus's hope he doesn't end up on the pats

Look back over time, since Jason Garrett came to the Cowboys.

TO couldn't play
Crayton couldn’t play
Roy Williams couldn’t play
Dez Bryant couldn’t play
Martellus Bennet couldnt play

It’s never Jason Garrett’s fault.

None of those recievers could run routes - that was the problem.

It wasn’t the fact that Jason Garrett’s offense only has about 5 routes total.

Cowboys should NOT waste anything above a 4th on any wr or te while Garrett is the coach. Period.

They drafted a skinny, receiving only TE with a second round pick then proceded not to play him for four years because he couldnt block.

Foh

All that caping for Jerry and those white folk.

But don't forget

Cowboys fans LOVE to defend Massa Jerry

And say how much he LOVES his players

He effectively screwed up Dez free agency by waiting this long to cut him, there was financial advantage to the team besides f*cling up Dez money for releasing so late in free agency

Wow. Talk about cut throat.:itsawrap:

Thing is, I didn't go too hard at Dez when he said them things. Because I understand the process.

Whenever struggling blacks move into a house role, it's the same thing. He gotta turn this L into a lesson.

Still wish him well as a player, but man, man.:smh:

Niggas say the dumbest shit especially so-called Cowboys fans in this thread. Give Dez Bryant a real quarterback who can throw all the damn routes, mainly the back shoulder fade, and watch him have 12 touchdowns again. Dak is the problem but we Cowboy fans will learn the hard way

Really explain how? Dez knew he was cut a month ago. Why do you think the Cowboys have signed two receivers and tried to get Sammy Watkins? Dez will be fine and sign a one or two year deal and get the money he's looking for. Its business; always was always will be. Ask Emmitt and T.O.

I think that's partially the problem. Romo wasn't throwing all the routes and Dez doesn't run the route tree well either. A lot of Dez's big plays were 50/50 balls that Romo chucked up for Dez to bully defenders for. Romo did throw the back shoulder fade better than Dak but defenders now don't play up on him like they used to cuz they don't fear him burning them like that anymore.

He never burned them in the past you just throw the ball up and let him get it. The fact is that Dak Prescott has no idea how to throw open his wide receivers. Listening to the media you would think that only Dez Bryant's numbers are down but everybody's numbers are down

Show me three Cowboys fans on this board that defend Jerry.

Exactly. He not jumping or bullying like he used to. And that doesn't explain all the dropped balls this year either. A good majority of those balls were very catchable.
He hasn't been given a chance to jump up and Bully anyone because the quarterback can't put the ball in the right spot

I blame Dez and the coaching staff for Dez not being better than he is. Dez relied too much on athleticism to learn the route tree better and the coaching staff didn't help his case either but not giving him more routes to try and add to his arsenal. Both of them got complacent and stunted his growth. There's a reason why receivers like Larry Fitzgerald are still dangerous even in their advanced years. They can effectively run the route tree no matter where on the field you put them.

Perhaps but that doesn't excuse the dropped balls he had this past season. I saw way too many catchable balls go right through his hands resulting in INTs

The problem for the entire offense is Romo is not there to change all Garrett and Linehans tired ass playcalls at the line. Romo was the real OC

No it doesn't excuse the drops but the fact remains you haven't seen Dak Prescott throw open anybody on that team. In the NFL you have to throw open receivers. Watch next year Dez Bryant balls out of control again. Just watch all the teams that's interested in him have damn near Hall of Fame quarterbacks

You can't blame Dez Bryant when the coaching staff is only sending him on three routes. Come on man. It's the quarterback. People don't want to tell the truth about Dak Prescott. Every time he threw up a jump ball situation the ball always flew five feet over Dez Bryant head.
