F.B.I. Raids Office of Trump’s Longtime Lawyer Michael Cohen

J Edgar Hoover's dirty tricks don't work in 2018
My point is, the worst enemy you can have in this country is probably the intelligence community. They have the higher odds of winning. They could have easily made this quick but they are methodically showing the dirty players involved to get their main board piece. They already have everything they need.

What Mueller Can Do If Donald Trump Fires Him
https://www.gq.com/story/if-trump-fires-mueller-what-comes-next

...Before any of Mueller's hypothetical cases could get underway, he would likely seek a preliminary injunction that prevents his firing from taking effect until the court can decide the matter on the merits. Judges evaluate requests for injunctive relief on a case-by-case basis, but among the many factors they consider is whether granting the injunction would serve the public interest—a prong on which one would assume Mueller could make a particularly strong argument in this instance.

If he wins, then for as long Mueller's attorneys and the Department of Justice battle one another over the intricacies of Administrative Procedure Act and the legitimacy of his termination, he would remain on the job, free to carry out his work as usual until the court says otherwise...

court savvy?
:lol::roflmao:

he didn't even win a slander lawsuit about his own net worth! after a humiliating deposition he lost both trials!

Trump practices legal extortion and bullying in "small ponds" \civil court

Trump is in the big league now - federal court & state criminal courts, facing national security, counter-intel, and forensic financial investigators... backed by US State attorneys
while Trump's remaining lawyer or 2, practice law out of crackerjack boxes

Meanwhile his strongest allies are being systematically forced to defend themselves on multiple fronts

I saw those exact same emojis when I told folks he was going to win the presidency.

Don't forget, we're talking about a guy who literally has the power to forgive sins and free people from jail. You could murder 10 people and Donald Trump could make it like it never happened. He can even pardon himself for any crime he committed before he became president.

How do you prosecute someone like that?

Even if you could, how do you stop him from using an executive order to attack a country, force a retaliation within 60 days, then use emergency war powers to stall the case indefinitely?

We are dealing with somebody who is cold blooded and despicable enough to do this and God knows what else to save his own ass. Mueller may be out if his league here.

very inaccurate
POTUS can't pardon state crimes... in your example murder is a state crime
from whats being reported the pretext for investigation surveillance etc used to apply for Cohen's raid warrant are all state crimes not federal

Yeah, he could start a war... so we'll see - but no matter what Cohen Manafort maybe even Kushner and Jr are on the road to being fucked

As for a Trump prosecution, its very possible - but I expect the status quo's effort to keep responsibility in congress

You not just a regular cracka, u a retarded cracka, you need to rethink everything u think you know cause if what your typing are your thoughts, you know nothing!

I wouldn't say they are 20 steps ahead, I just seeing the end game to this as the same a Nixon. Once all evidence is almost done, Republicans will come to Trump and say he needs to resign for the good of the party just like Nixon did and they will promise Pence will pardon him and all his family so he can go home. Trump will make a speech resigning claiming he is doing it for the good of the country so both side can finally come together without admitting fault. The investigation will end and all information will be sealed from public view.

That is the only way this going to end. We are not going to see Trump Jr in handcuffs or Trump being taken out of the White House.

This was why Pence was picked. He stayed clear of Trump the entire campaign and even today is rarely seen with him. We saw Obama and Joe together all the time hanging out in the Oval Office. Pence is only seen with Trump for scheduled events only to keep him clean of all this.

I'm gonna say you're wrong given that 1) Pence is likely implicated or at knowlegable of a lot of the fuckery. And 2) the Repubs are likely to lose the House and/or Senate so sealing their fuckups might not be an option

Sidenote Michael Cohen was also over the RNC finances

This is part of the reason I believe so many GOP members are lock n step with everything Trump says.

They know if he goes down there is a good chance that they do as well.

Well they have a decision to make now since FBI has their hands on Michael’s computer and records

I can't even imagine Trump making an "I'm stepping down for the sake of the country speech". that's not even possible considering all his rhetoric (deep state out to get me from the beginning) and how he's built.

Yeah.. Pence has long been implicated. he's just not an important target right now. Pence was running the fucking transition team! I don't think a world exists where Trump's team gets caught up in charges and Pence gets out clean.

The Russian money trail runs right through the heart of the GOP.

This is why the repugnants aren't too quick to snatch old boy off chumps ass. They hope chump gets ran through but they can't look like they support chump or him. If they push to hard for chump then the spotlight gets shined on their Russian connections. Push to hard for old boy and chump shows where the bodies are buried. So they give him just enough support and stand back.

Gents,

Which brings me back to my point from earlier. If this is indeed true, then why in the world would they lift a finger to keep Mueller and the Special Investigation going? Especially, if Trump finds a way through proxy to fire Mueller and/or end the investigation?

Oh. That's the reason why they've remained silent for the most part. It's also the reason why many have been sabotaging it.

Nunes was ONE the fucking Trump transition team. He's protecting Trump and himself. He was on Fox today saying he's going to impeach FBI director Wray and Rosenstein.

The thing is this... we're so close to the Midterms that I dont think it will matter. Dems about to control the House. If Trump keeps this up, the Senate might even be in play. The irony is that the map was so fucked up for Dems that after Trump got elected, people thought the Dems were going to get washed out even more because of all the gerrymandering.

The crazy shit about gerrymandering though is that it leaves you super vulnerable if there is a wave.. it can turn a big wave into a Tsunami.

If they sack Mueller, GOP congress is going to get washed all the way out.

I absolutely think there is no circumstance where the current Congres (with GOP control) impeaches Trump. For one, the GOP has gone really extreme and the House is way more extreme than the Senate..it's way right of America. Two, supporting the impeachment of Trump loses them that 35% that's locked in for Trump.

They won't do it. They could have trump on take right now working out the deal with Putin to steal the election and they still wouldn't do it because many of them are implicated financially.

Ryan is on fucking tape acknowledging that Trump was bought by Putin. and he wasn't joking

Whatever they do getting rid of chump is the repugnants top priority. He is poison even with his base.

The complicity by the GOP is always why I'm SHOCKED that Trump didn't just sack sessions, rosenstein and then Mueller months ago. Conservatives would have caused a fit over Sessions, but they would have gotten over it... but it would have been some internal bickering... a huge confirmation battle..but in the end, they would have sat on their hands.

Trump should have gone full autocrat while he could. I think it's too late now.
