I hope they signed Brock up again. I like Brock with the title, it actually makes his championship matches feel important when he shows up.

The top title shouldn't be on TV weekly, it loses its importance if it is.

That's why the WWE Championship doesn't seem that special anymore. The Universal title surpassed it, because it's on Raw and it is hardly defended.
That's an interesting POV. I disagree but interesting. I think titles not going to any and everyone makes them special. When they give it to someone just to bring attention to something like the Jinder and India stuff then I value it less. Rather watch you work hard, get over with the fans and improve as a wrestler all around instead of politics deciding it.

I see your point of view but I have to respectfully disagree there. I think that not having the title on tv regularly is hurting the value of the belt and the overall story.

Braun and Roman are going to start seeming lost in the shuffle, because they should be feuding over the title at the top of the card. But they can't fully do that since Brock has the title and only shows up for the big 4 PPVs. So they have to find 'busy work' for top guys for most of the year.

For everyone who hated how Braun killed the entire Raw tag division, Brock holding the title is why they did that. They have to give Strowman busy work until they're done with Lesnar.

And this isn't remotely a knock against Lesnar. I love his beast character. He can still have his 4 big money matches each year. He just needs to do it without the title.

I actually feel the opposite. His matches at this point don't feel important at all. It feels like a chore. Watch 5 punches...watch him hit the F5....then match over.

WWE Championship doens't even feel like a real title. Feels like a gimmick title.

I agree with all of this. I don't understand why he has to have the title. He can still dominate those 4 matches he does......he doesn't have to do it with the title though.

I think WWE think have the title on Brock brings legitimacy to the company with his background in the UFC. The majority of their audience are more than a casual fan. Casuals aren't buying the network. Most of their audience are tired of Brock and his half ass in ring performance.

They just being misinformed and ignorant. Ronda and Brock are big enough celebrities that will bring legitimacy to their product without having the title.

I'm so disappointed by that Brock match. I don't even know what story they were trying to tell. Brock has had better matches with guys less over than Roman. It really makes no sense how they booked that.

If you're quiet enough you can actually hear the mic drop. Kenny killed him

I still think that they should do Flair/Asuka 2 next year. They have Asuka go undefeated again. Even have her win a title. They can even have Ronda go undefeated as well. Then gave Ronda v Asuka main event Summerslam. At the same time they have Flair drop her title but win the Rumble.

Then Flair can come off day one and say that she is challenging Asuka at Mania. She can say that Asuka has beat everyone on the roster, including handing Ronda her first lost. She beat everyone except for Flair.

That way their rematch will have some weight behind it. The build and promos alone would be great. Asuka goes in nearly undefeated for 3 years. Only ever having lost to Flair. Flair goes in the absolute queen and only person who has Asuka's number.

This seemed obvious after he retained the Universal championship in the main event of WrestleMania 34 last night (Sun., April 8, 2018) in New Orleans, but Brock Lesnar has re-signed with WWE. That’s according to the company itself, who sent out a press release announcing as much.

It’s also been revealed a rematch with Roman Reigns is set for the upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia:

STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon announced today that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has re-signed with WWE. Lesnar’s next appearance is scheduled for the Greatest Royal Rumble event, where he will compete against Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match for the Universal Title at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27, at 7 p.m. AST.

The Greatest Royal Rumble will stream live on the award-winning WWE Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. It will be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming. Tickets for this historic event will be available on Friday, April 13.

The event will also feature the first-ever 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble Match, John Cena vs. Triple H and six other championship matches.

General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia Chairman, His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh, WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, invite the world to celebrate this signature event.

It would be sweet if the surprise return tonight was Lashley and he challenged Brock to a MMA. Like a legit looking MMA style fight.

It's WWE so you know it would bullshit. But let Lashley and Lensar throw a couple of legit punches.

Remember the Lion's Den matches Ken Shamrock used to have with Steve Blackman?

I can see them doing something like that.
