UFC 223: The Cursed and the Damned (Links Please)

this "anatomy of..." VLOG is really dope. Just discovered it during this cycle. Props!

Yeah - happened across them earlier this week catching up with the UFC Embedded programming. People are really impressed with how quickly they turn around the content after filming it ... there isn't much delay.

The Fight Life Youtube channel is also pretty good. They seem to do behind the scenes stuff for Team Alpha Male (and others?) ... bookmarked their channel last year -

Yeah that's how I found it too. I was like "who is this guy that has better footage and faster than embedded?" Lol

although Khabib has never been a stand-up guy, he took 2 rounds off. You can tell.

he jabbed and didn't commit to anything.
Who cares? He beat dude up on the feet as well. He just finished rag filling the guy for two rounds, and saw that the guy wasn't gonna do anything but defend , so he took some time off , and practiced his boxing. Very good training if ya ask me.

Iaquinta may be ranked #11, but rankings don't mean much of shit. Khabib already beat the shit out of higher ranking guys, and he was planning on fighting different styles that night. Adapting in the ring is also a skill. Plus Al had better wrestling than some of the guys he beat up. People made the same assumption about John Jones when he came back to slower ranked fighter, then shined when he faced Cormier. Styles make fights.

I wanna see Kamaru get a hold of Colby.

Agreed. Gotta respect Usman for calling him out on it too. They live some 20 miles apart there in Florida ... know the same people ... and Colby only turns it on when the press/media is around. Colby doesn't want any of him. Gonna be interesting to see what type of ass whooping RDA puts on Covington when they match up in June.

God , pleeeeeeeaass don't let RDA slip up like he did against Eddie Alvarez and let this CAC have some leverage to run his mouth.

There's a list of some bad brothas out there
Darren Brown
kamaru Usman
Mark Diakese
Isreal Adesanya

I cast my net wide so i can have my new Jon Jones 2.0 lol

Yeah - that Alvarez fight was wild. Never thought he'd stop RDA. He's been in there with a who's who over the years. Especially recently with RDA, Conor, Poirier, and Gaethje. Surprised he was able to stop Gaethje too. What a fight this past December. Loved that main card with Aldo-Holloway 2, and of course Ngannou-Overeem. If I recall correctly, RDA moved up to 170lbs (from 155) after the loss to Ferguson which followed the Alvarez one - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafael_dos_Anjos#Mixed_martial_arts_record

Yes - plenty of great talent. As soon as Izzy started showing off his arsenal and dynamic striking in his last fight ... people at the fight party were talking about the Jones comparisons with the creativity and athleticism. Great striker.

Fam I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. I was actually defending him against the people calling his stand up trash.

He took the rounds off, and was jabbing. Dude had nothing for him cause He was still winning the stand up by just jabbing.

you see the last round when he came out he hand his hands up and took him down.

OT: I'm watching this Showtime fight and this nigga Floyd on the mic REALLY talking about making this UFC fight.

I thought all the mumbling and hoopla was bullshit but hearing it from himself speak on the level of engagement he's trying to make this fight puts it in a whole different level of speculation :smh::smh::smh:
bro its all talk.he has to be in the lime light.you really think he will be in a REAL mma fight no.if something was to happen it will be faker than a wwe match.trust

I thought the same as this dude and I can tell Joes commentary swayed the mind of some people.

He didn't need to but he apologized.
