Greyhound Bus Passengers Catch Driver Falling Asleep At The Wheel

DON'T BE FUCKIN' AROUND WITH GREYHOUND!

Interesting.

I drive 18 wheelers over the road, so I understand the driver being sleepy.

Federal law only requires a minimum of 10hr rest between shifts. Sometimes that is not enough because you may be up for 5 to 6 hrs before going asleep.

And Greyhound along with all bus companies have a shortage of drivers, mainly because the pay sucks.

That bitch would stop at every small town on the way.

A 5hr trip became 12hrs

And make sure you shit before you get on
Gotta catch that express bus...

I got on the wrong one once.... Took 10 hours to get from Dallas to Houston

I took the bus from Baltimore to N. Orleans in 03. Aint been back on one since.

The 2 things i still recall most:

1) It literally took over a day and we had to get off multiple times in the middle of the night while they ran routine bus checks at each stop.

2) The ex cons sitting a few rows behind me, comparing their stints. "I just did a 22 yr stretch cuz. I'm certified fo sho." Apparently, this is the mode of travel for releasees.

I wanted to ask about said certification, but I'm pretty sure he aint mean as a public accountant. Never again!

Yup! That one 10 howh bus ride I accidentally got on had them dudes on there. They was yelling ito the times and say what they would be doing if they was still on lock...

"8pm!! Lights out nigga!"

Then dudes was wild! They made that trip fun...

I use to work for their Corporate office for years. And this doesn't surprise me because we would hear complaints of dispatch calling and waking them up right after the time DOT has allowed for them to rest.
Greyhound is really a good loyal drivers, but they also have filed bankruptcy a few times. At one time they were owned by LaidLaw (company that owns the school buses) and they don't give a damn about anyone.

Greyhound bus drivers are assholes.

I had to use Greyhound in the years after Katrina and I cussed out one driver and threatened to kill another and I still see the bastard regularly.

Y'all were on a prison bus :roflmao2:
I most definitely was... And I used to get mistaken for one of them, because I wouldn't pack half the time I'd throw my weekend clothes in a laundry sack... And I guess that's what they gave them prison cats when they left

I got into it with this bum downtown once... He saw me with that laundry sack and was like "welcome home brotha how long was you in for??" I was like nah man I'm not getting outta jail I just rode the bus home to visit... I'm in college...

This nigga said "oh you think you a college boy cuz you spent yo yard time in the library, huh nigga?" Then he flipped his hat around pointed to it to show me it was a Michigan hat and was like "well Imma wolverine nigga... Go Blue..."

The thing about traveling on a bus is you are not held up to the same silly security standards as with airports.

Check in and you basically just walk onto the bus.

I’m surprised nobody has........nevermind.

used to do amtrak from nyc to philly then learned about greyhound then learned about the chinese buses. was saving a lot for those trips lol
