A middle school teacher in Orange County, Florida is under fire after parents of students discovered virulently anti-Muslim posts on her Twitter account, reports the Orlando Sentinel.

According to the report, Sundai Brown, 51, a teacher at Bridgewater Middle School, has been tweeting racist comments about Muslims dating back to 2017, and parents just became aware of them — with the school administrators admitting that the teacher was warned about them last year.

In one post Brown wrote, “Imans worldwide instruct muslims to invade western countries, outbreed them, overthrow governments, kill infidels and implement sharia law.” In another, she quipped, “If you think Hurricane Irma is bad, wait till you get a load of Hurricane Allah.”

The report goes on to note that Brown, has also favorably retweeted post from adherents on white supremacists including a far-right Dutch politician and a post by “Identity Evropa,” which calls itself a group “for people of European heritage.”

As news broke about her posts she took her Twitter account down, and the school has had to admit that there were aware of her racist leanings previously.

In a telephone message sent out to parents of Bridgewater students, principal Andrew Jackson pointed out that the social media postswere 2017 and added, “We addressed these concerns with the teacher at the time.”

Jackson went on to assure the parents that school does not condone her message of hate.

“The school district does not condone or interfere in social media posts of employees unless there is a violation of the professional code of ethics,” the statement read.

A school district spokesperson refused to confirm whether Brown is under investigation again, saying it is a personnel matter.

Brown has since taken her Twitter account down, although Orlando Weekly has preserved some screenshots of the offensive posts

She looks psychologically beat down. Probably was teased for being aesthetically challenged by other black people. This in turns made her hate herself.

This is an unpopular opinion but sometimes black people hate themselves and other black people because it was other black people who treated them cruelly during their impressionable years.

I have no issue with your opinion. Going from a majority white elementary/middle/high school to a HBCU was a culture shock to me. I was different. So there were some challenges, especially from my own people. Luckily, I had good black male mentors on my side and I learned.

Yall have no clue how close I was from being an "All Live Matter" type of negro versus who I am today. Majority of my impressionable years were spent around white folks.

No. I give People of Color the benefit of doubt.

I just wanted to point out Muslim isn't a race, so saying something anti Muslim is not racist, just anti Muslim.

Claiming it is racist devalues actual acts of racism.
I guess, but this brawdd gets no pass from me. She's retweeting known white supremacists so fuck this bitch too.

I don't "know" of these known white supremacists she retweeted, but if they are known, there is no excuse for that. I agree, fuck her.

She's slave minded on the "Christian side" just like those slave minded Negros on the "Muslim side". The whole lot of them are a pox on the rest of us so called Black people whether we are woke or just not on the side of the slave minded of respectively adverse religious cults. Pretty fucked up situation all around for all of so called people of color.

No offense to you, but I don't get why so many of my brothers and sisters think that if you agree with the All Lives Matter movement, you're a sellout or something. It's as if the Black race is a monolith and if we don't all think the same you're an outcast. One of the biggest activists I know in my community is a brother that is an All Lives Matter cat. He's done so much for the black community here that I can't even list it all. Few things burn me up more than when I hear do nothing brothers and sisters talk shit about him for his beliefs.

The context in how I was using it was pointing more to an extreme thinking that goes totally against the purpose of BLM and police brutality against Black People. More dismissive than supportive.

But I understand what you're talking about have no gripes with those that thinking differently. I can't speak for others though.

theres truth to both statements are an extension of each other sadly

Don't know if she supports white supremacy but more like a Jesus freak, I got bunch in my family that thinks islam is some form of devil worship lol
I hear you but a lot of these bible thumpers bow down to white supremacy using the Bible. Look closely at those black megachurch attendees.
