definitely agree. Aside from Killmonger's vicious tactics and tryin to take the throne, T'Challa basically agreed with him, which is why he was so conflicted fighting him the first time. I thought it was very telling when T'Challa confronted his father the 2nd time in the ancestral plane, his gripe wasn't that he killed his brother, it was that he left the boy. He knew how harmful that was to Killmonger. And we got to see that in how T'Challa treated him after he beat him at the end....like c'mon cuzzo, let me show you the beauty of Wakanda cuz this shit is yours too. Then went back to his hood to honor his vision, but in a (perceived) better way. I thought the whole plight of the interaction between those two was incredible.
T'challa knew they had created him. It wasn't his fault. It was what he knew all his life and he was a product of it.
That is a message to these real life niggas that grew up way better, had every opportunity and no reason to be angry and lash out about some shit while they judge others who grew up harder and had to scrap for position. All these respectability niggas on this site too looking down while people who come from places where everybody dies is the attitude are judged as if they got to go to the private schools with all the best teachers and nutrition and didn't have lead pumped into their water supply and shit.
YES THEY BLACK TOO. HELP THEM. don't just sit back and say "Well we gotta protect our own" THEY ARE YOUR OWN TOO.
If you're beat down the only way you know how to fight back is the inflict that same pain.
The beauty of Killmonger is he was ready to DIE for his beliefs. Everyone else was scared of death and he himself had made peace with it. Liberating black people around the world was THAT important to him that his life didn't matter.
Even when he got stabbed he was like hell of a move. His crying was just plainly speaking about the things he was robbed of. As someone who's lost their father- thankfully not to murder- I can't tell you how many times I wish my dad was here, including last night.
This was a better adaptation of Malcolm X vs Martin Luther King Jr.
They could've saved him. He wasn't going to be locked up. Even when he dies he had to hit them in the gut.
"Bury me in the ocean with my ancestors who jumped off the ship because they understand that death was better than being in bondage"
You just gotta sit with that in your brain your cousin just told you about yourself
