Meanwhile it's directly overhead at the equator. Using the pythagorean theorem that put the sun at roughly 3000 miles.
BUT, I now believe different. I actually think it's 1000 miles high. If you go further north/south at 80 degrees for instance, the sun is just 10 degrees above the horizon, and that distance is about 5500 miles from the equator. So that puts the sun at 1k miles above the surface, not 3k.

Your math is laughable. If this were true the size of the sun would vary depending on your location on the same day and it does not.
Nobody can prove anything to you if you don't believe in the science of it. That's it. There is no reason to argue with folks. There is a spiritual plane of existence that I believe in. There are interdimensional forces at play that I also believe in. There is simple science based on the most primitive levels of comprehension that human beings are capable of. This launch is one of those things. Back in the days was one thing for people to believe in a flat Earth and one galaxy and shit like that. Now, we should know better.
There are hundreds of galaxies. Lightyears away. When you look up into the sky and see a star, that star is so far that it is actually already long gone, you are simply seeing its projection from years ago. That is how long it takes light to travel to our eyes from where the star was I dunno for a million or so years and then like five years later you see its light. Thats why they are always finding new stars because time and space and distance. Think about that.
Space travel has been done before when money was allocated and the research and physics and quantum mechanic experts of the day made this shit possible. There have been dozens of satellites shot in orbit, even right now as we speak - its the only way you can see an image from across the world broadcasted to your screen.
Look at your smartphone. How is that possible? The shit can be remotely operated and some individual can listen in or record every audio signal or voice around it inside your own house. They can turn on the camera on your computer and watch you too.
They can make planes that crack the sound barrier and shatter glass when they fly pass at breakneck speed. They also make planes that go invisible to radar, hover with muted engines in silent mode and pinpoint targets from hundreds of miles away for strikes. All this can be done from a remote control on a laptop.
How do you see all this science around you and still believe that what we are seeing with our own eyes is CGI just for the fun of it? The shit was on the news in Florida man. My cousin watched the shit go up and come back down with her own eyes. She was in disbelief because of the sheer precision of the act... not that it actually didn't happen.
Look at the weather. Look at the predictions for the solar eclipse. Look at the comets that hit our atmosphere and wee see the weird colors and the pics of them passing by our atmosphere.

I have all kinds of problems with your post (equator on a flat earth, equinox...) But i just want to ask, have you actually tested the pythagor theorem on a source of light?
You can have an equator on a flat disk. And yes, I have at one point.
