It was a very traumatic experience as I never been around a person that had zero control of their thoughts.
His parent had him committed a few months back and he was very upset with them because of it. Crazy thing about it, is that he ask to see me the day he was breaking down. I always knew the dude was a little off, but I didn't think he was a schizophrenic. We conversed about the wildest rabbit hole shit about life that you could think of. He love science and math. Wanted to understand it further because it was complex. It seemed like math was the only thing to give him a solution that was either right or wrong.
He's a young brother (19) and very bright when he is in his right mind state. I havent seen him in two weeks now. And no one can get in touch with him or his parents, so I don't know what's going on. I worry about him because I think his parents are delusional about his mental health.
I think what hurt me the most was that he apologized to me while he was breaking down. He said "I'm sorry for all this" and went right backs to 'his world.'
Mental health is real. Sorry to go off, but I was genuinely traumatized and I have to continue to talk about it for coping reasons. I care about our young brothers, so to see one break in front of my eyes caught me off guard. 1st time experience.
