Nicole Eggert just went on Megyn Kelly's show to chronicle what she claims was years of sexual assault at the hands of Scott Baio, and explained why she lied and why her timeline was off.

Nicole and her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, recounted abuse during the filming of "Charles in Charge," claiming Baio fingered her when she was 14 and ultimately had sex with her at 17. Baio strongly denies her allegations and says they had sex only after she turned 18.

Kelly asked Eggert about discrepancies in her stories and comments she made where she sang Baio praises. She says it's all about feeling shame.

And Baio has blasted Eggert, saying if she really believes her allegations she should file a police report and not try to destroy him on social media. Eggert responded on the show, "Be careful what you wish for."

Nicole Eggert told Dr. Oz earlier this month the story of how Scott Baio allegedly got extremely physical with her when she was only 14 and had sex with her at 17 -- something Baio strongly denies -- and we have video from the taping.

As we reported, the episode never aired. Baio's people sent a cease and desist letter to the show, claiming Eggert's timeline didn't make sense. The 'Oz' people shelved the show, although a rep told us they were still investigating.

You hear Nicole claim Baio told her he could help her get ready to have sexual relations with boys her own age. She says she agreed, though it was awkward.

Dr. Oz asks her where the conversation occurred, and she says at her home when her parents weren't there ... presumably, this is when she was 17.

Dr. Oz asked Nicole what he said to lure her into sex, and she said he told her "how much he loved me and, hopefully one day when I was of age, we could be together, and that he understood I needed to go be with boys my own age and it was sort of like a goodbye action.

The show was taped January 10 but, as we said, never aired. Nicole and her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, will appear on Megyn Kelly's show today to tell her story.

Baio says they did have sex, but not until Eggert was 18.

An emotional Nicole Eggert accused Scott Baio of sexually abusing her for years in an interview with Megyn Kelly on Tuesday.

The actress said it all started when she was 14 back in 1986 on the set of Charles in Charge, the television show she worked on with Baio, who was then 25.

'He immediately took to me and befriended me and earned my trust. And then he started expressing his love for me. And talking about marriage in the future,' said Eggert, fighting back tears.

'And then I was still 14, before my 15th birthday, we were at his house in his car in his garage. And he reached over and he penetrated me with his finger. And that is when the sexual touching and abuse started after that.'

She went on to claim that these incidents 'probably happened once a week' until she was 16, along with kissing and groping that she believes the pair's co-stars on the program saw at the time.

Baio has firmly denied Eggert's allegations and said that the two did not engage in any sexual activity until she was of age.

'I had never experienced anything like that before either, so he was playing on not only my emotions but my hormones and all of those things,' said Eggert, now 46.

'And the issue with him is that he was our boss. And he was telling me, you know, 'You can't tell anybody, this is illegal, I'll go to jail. The show will be over. Everybody will be sued," you know? "You'll be out of a job, you'll ruin everybody's life.'

Eggert then added: 'It's scary. It's intimidating, especially when you're that young.'

As for the producers and other actors on set, Eggert said they had to be aware of the kissing and groping but she does not think they knew about the sexual abuse.

'There was a bit of like -- this person loves me. I trust this person. And that he cares about me and I'm safe,' said Eggert of her feelings for Baio at the time.

'And it wasn't until, you know, getting a little bit older that I started to realize this not -- this is not love.'

She said that the two did not have sexual intercourse until she was 17 and Baio was 28, and that she only told a few close friends at the time of the initial abuse.

Baio disputes this as well and says Eggert was 18, which is the legal age on consent in the state.

He provide proof of that in the form of an interview that Eggert did with The Dirty, in which she said that it was long after the show wrapped in 1990 when she and Bario had sex.

Eggert explained why she had kept this a secret for so long, and why she stressed in the past that she had never had sexual contact with Baio until she was of age.

'But my truth is I wasn't ready to tell my story and for me it was protecting the show and protecting that whole legacy that nothing happened there,' Eggert told Kelly.

'That was my delusion and that was my cover-up always. And, you know, that's not the first time I covered it up. I always lied about it.'

Now, Eggert wishes she could go back and tell her younger self to not be ashamed of what had happened, and let her know it was not her fault.

I just skimmed the article, but what did she admit to lying about? It seems she lied to protect him and is now saying she is telling the truth. Help me here if that is wrong.

On another note, it says she was 14 and he was 25. He admits to having sex with her but says he waited until she was 18, which would make him 29.....I don't know about ya'll, but at 29 I wasn't interested in 18 year olds......
 
The fact that she doesn't have fucking until she's 17 though other shit happened when she was younger sort of makes her story credible.

If she was going to lie to sell this I think she would have just said he fucked her when she was 14.

Women and logic don't mix. You're applying your male logic on a woman and thinking she thinks like a man. Error. Women think completely different than men do. A woman could look you in the eyes and say 1+1=4 and not blink once. You need more experience with women.

This isn't woman logic.

This is a woman with a lawyer making a public case against Scott Baio.

I don't know if you're familiar with Gloria Allred's daughter but she's been trained well in this attention whoring and publicly going after celebrities so best believe if they were trying to sell this and really apply pressure they would have had her saying he fucked her at 14 which would sound far worse and get more headlines.
