The only time I hear something about about them is when my friends tell me or if I see a thread on here or other forum sites I visit. I don't listen to them at all.
been following shorty for min. Dont know shit about her or her career. Just follow her cause she sexy and thick as hell.
A lot of dark skinned Afro Latin folks hate being Black. So if ol girl is Latina, i respect her for being proud of her "Black side". Cause most Latin folks try to ignore it.
As for CMTG... he has issues, hence the botox, skin bleach etc. He slips from time to time....but for the most part, I think his head is in the right place.

I haven't been keeping up with this but every interview I've seen posted of this chick,she is talking about how proud she is to be a dark Latina. It seems she embraces being "Latina" more than being black and frustrated because she isn't fully embraced as a "Latina". A lot of East Coast black folks love claiming they are "Spanish" and tout it more than their Blackness no matter how they look. I always thought it looked/sounded weird,and wouldn't blame Latinos for feeling the same. Amara is fine as fuck and should embrace her blackness instead of trying to be an "exotic" Latina.

Everyone is culpable, student and teachers alike, but we simply were not taught about how many Black people were in Mexico, the Carribean, or South America, and that they suffered from the same oppression from the Portugese and the French and the Spanish as we did in North America.
Then...you do your OWN research only to find Africans, and their culture are the backbone in every inhabitable country and the ethnicity shown for said country is just the marketing.
That's why controlling our education and economic production is tantamount above all else.
