'Star Trek: Discovery' renewed for Season 2 at CBS All Access

Some people in here were right.

It would be interesting if the whole premise behind how Starfleet got advanced weaponry and Section 31 was from the Terrans of the mirror universe.
We know that Khan was responsible for the weaponry on Into Darkness, but where is Khan from?

It's actually the other way around. The Terrans gained from the Prime universe. The USS Defiant (ST:ENG mirror universe episodes) from Kirk's time shows up in the mirror universe Archer's time.

Section 31 has been around since the founding of Starfleet which predates the Federation.

Khan is a genetically modified Human called an Augment from the late 20th Century during the Eugenics Wars. He and his followers were defeated, put in suspended animation and launched into space on the Botany Bay until the Space Seed episode in ST:TOS and the ST:TWOK movie.

The Abrams-verse ST shit doesn't exist to me.

This show continues to be addictive and riveting.

I called it (elsewhere) on The Emperor and Tyler.

Got caught up recently. Show really found it's legs during the last few episodes of the Season. Gave me those strong Trek vibes. Also Sonequa is cute af

Also "Michael Burnham" is such a wack name...I get what they were going for but goddamn if that isn't the plainest shit I've ever heard lmao.

So a theory - Not spoilers just guesses

Lorca is really from the mirror universe and he came over to the Prime Universe and needed Stamets and Discovery to get back - so he can get back to the task of killing the Emperor and become Emperor -

The Prime Lorca is in the mirror universe and will be found by Burnham - and brought back to the Prime

The Emperor is possible Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh)

Patting myself on the back - but seriously I love the breadcrumbs they planted a season...homeboy was always a little off - always had a hidden agenda

The stories are good but the canon is sloppy or non existent. In both the prime and mirror universes, when someone contacted you on the intercom on the TOS Enterprise, you had to hit a button in order to respond. On Discovery and the mirror ships, they just verbally respond like it's the 24th century.

2points...

1. This felt like a movie.

2.
I was hoping they would have arrived in the post Picard time line.
