Fuck it.. The Official Brooklyn Nets 2017-18 Thread

Tough loss tonight. Needed a better inbound play and got screwed on a non foul call on Paul George.

Spencer could have had an and1 here too

We let our foot off the gas. Stopped doing what we did to get the lead in the first place

that's that bullshit man.

I'm so use to getting screwed, I laugh at this shit now. League admitted it was a foul too and they missed the and1 that would have put us up two. Its a star driven league and we don't have those. Just a bunch of dudes that don't quit and give everyone they play hell. My favorite Nets team since Kidd was running point

The Milwaukee Bucks acquired center Tyler Zeller in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets, league sources told ESPN.

Milwaukee will send a protected 2018 second-round pick and former first-round draft pick Rashad Vaughn in the trade, league sources said.

The Nets have $3.5 million in salary-cap space available, as well as a $6 million disabled player exception from the season-ending Jeremy Lininjury.

Zeller gives the Bucks a solid backup center for the playoff push. The deal gives the Nets a chance to further replenish their future pool of draft picks.

The Bucks will send the 2018 second-round pick to the Nets should it fall between 31 and 47 in the draft. Otherwise, Phoenix will receive the pick as part of the Eric Bledsoe trade. If the Bucks pick doesn't convey in 2018, Milwaukee will send its unprotected second-round pick in 2020 to Brooklyn, league sources said.

For the Bucks, Zeller, 28, will compete for minutes behind starting center John Henson. Zeller has averaged seven points and 4.6 rebounds this season. Zeller has played with Cleveland and Boston in his six NBA seasons.

Vauhgn, 21, was the 17th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft, but has been unable so far to get traction in the league. He has averaged 3.1 points in two-plus seasons.

Three days after he was acquired from the Bucks, along with a second rounder, Rashad Vaughn has been traded to New Orleans for veteran small forward Dante Cunningham.

The 6’8” Cunningham is a journeyman who’s played for six teams and is averaging five points and 3.5 rebounds in 51 games, 24 of them starts. The Villanova product is 30 years old.

The trade cuts into the Nets remaining cap space in that Cunningham makes $2.3 million and Vaughn a little more than $1.8 million. The Nets now have about $3 million in cap space.

In essence, the Nets traded Tyler Zeller for Cunningham and a Bucks second round pick, likely to be conveyed in 2020.

David Aldridge reported that Cunningham will not seek a release/buyout from Brooklyn. he has previously played for Minnesota, Portland, Memphis and Charlotte. His best year was last year when he averaged 6.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 66 games, hitting 39.2 percent of his three’s.

I guess. We needed a power forward. Vaughn was not cutting it

Thats about the seventh game this season we lost because of a missed call.

I think it’s indifference

IDK Leroy. We've got the most missed calls in the L2M (last two minute) report in the league. That's not just a mere coincidence. Somebody on netsdaily.com mentioned this in the comments

I did the count of incorrect calls in the L2M Reports after the OKC game, and here is the updated stats:
23 Nets games qualified for a L2M Report this season.
5 of those games had no incorrect calls (or incorrect no-calls), 18 games had at least 1 incorrect call or incorrect no-call as noted by the L2M.
28 incorrect calls (or no-calls) disadvantaged the Nets.
14 incorrect calls (or no-calls) disadvantaged the opponents.

Those are alarming numbers

dude we need a PF and a center.

and allen crabbe sucks

We need a new coach. No way Ok4 or Mosgov shouldn't have got some minutes when Howard was going off like that. I hate Kenny

Crabbe wasn't shooting well but he was the only one keeping Kemba in check.
