When individuals such as him tell one colossal lie (that's at the forefront of their whole public identity), it puts all the rest that they've said into question.
An individual like him doing "therapy" and advising children could be dangerous. For example, his treating ADHD as if it's a hoax is very problematic - particularly if he isn't even medically/psychologically qualified to make that assessment. Though it is true that Black boys are often misclassified as a number of things as part of the white supremacist, racist shuffling of Black boys, his conclusion sounds very Trump-ish since I've not heard him provide hard evidence for his assertion.
Incidentally, @cashwhisperer , let us not forget to add Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu to the list of Black scholars who have written extensively on that subject. His set of books, "Countering the Conspiracy to Destroy Black Boys" are both well-known and groundbreaking.
Not once have I heard Umar reference them.
