I am paying like $15 just in FEES
$10 month for the modem...which is $200 to buy but only a 1 year warranty AND you can't use Voip on it.
I am paying $10 a month JUST for the boxes.
I got no premium channels but I am paying a $5 fee for the ABILITY to get it and they charging me $14 for the DVR
and a $7 sports package fee whether you have a sports package or NOT
convenience is why i still pay for it. I can just turn on the cable box and BAM!
I have a firestick, but i dont want to search for working links everytime i want to wat h television
It can be cumbersome. You have to upgrade ur kodi & change builds regularly. Working links are like hit & miss a lot of times too, then to find a 4k or 1080 P, sometimes u have to settle for a SD link
I just purchased a zoom modem, them shits work great... if you have time warner..
I only have a cable box in the living room and two bedrooms I have none in my master bedroom..
I just use bgol cable, netflix and that damn near covers everything.
and I have access to time warner cable online.. which is fine only they purposely fuck up live sports, lots of freezing and buffering... other than that its fine...
but I have other alternatives for live sports.. I dont have to see that shit in hd...
and I just have hbo and showtime for boxing really...
but yea look into that zoom moden..

auto pay on everything. only have an issue doing that maybe 2 times out of the year when someone takes more of a payment when they are suppose to and that's usually t-mobile that's doing it.

Man, I was cable free for damn near 7 years, but Bright House/Spectrum was going to raise my internet bill to $70+ and they had a package deal for internet, phone and cable for $20 dollars more.

As an aside, my kids are 7, 6 and 4 and for their entire existence, they never saw toy commercials when watching kids shows, because we either streamed Netflix, Hulu or Kodi... now watching Disney Channel or Cartoon network, we laugh at how amazed they are at toy commercials. Lolz

I put most of my friends on to Set. My kids and girl use it all the time, no complaints. Once they learn, they love it.
Tip, every time my internet bill goes up, I call the company and ask for the retention department. I tell them I am lookng to lower my bil, what promo do you have. They alway find a promo to lower my bill. Been doing it for the last 8 years. Works everytime.
