I am sure the book is entertaining if you like such stuff. Some of it is probably true, some of it false. It is toxic in that it shifts the debate from policy to character. We should be debating what Trump and Congress are doing to the US, why is it bad, or good. Who cares whether the President eats burgers, and what his staff thinks of him, provided they do their job.

The Trump camarilla is destroying the United States of America. They are dismantling the entire country and U.S. institutions. 60% of the federal agency professional job positions that require U.S. Senate confirmation are VACANT under Trump. Im talking about the U.S. State Dept., The EPA, The NSA, The Agriculture Dept, The FDA, HHS, et al. ; and the qualified career people who are there are resigning in droves. The air you breathe, the water you drink, the drugs your doctor prescribes, the food you buy in the supermarket, the athletic equipment your kid uses at school et al. are all virtually unregulated under Trump.
The fact that the Drump's might be financially "good" when he is removed or his term ends is irrelevant to 99.9% of all U.S. citizens. As every witness in wolff's book testifies; Fucking Trump has a 5 year old's mentality and is unfit to be POTUS.

The country all of us have grown up in for the past 35 years is being destroyed by the Trump camarilla; and the overwhelming majority of U.S. citizens are fast asleep. To be sure based on all polls 65% of Americans loathe the Trump gang with great antipathy but very few of the "resistance" are aware of the granular details of how Trump is gutting U.S. traditions and normalcy in the same manner one guts and cleans a fish before cooking it. The "resistance" is somnolent as Trump stacks the Federal judiciary with unqualified reich-wing judges, removes clean air & water laws, reverses laws regarding putting prisoners in for-profit private prisons, and enacts hundreds of new laws and reversals of established laws which are all designed to DESTROY American citizens "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" as defined in the Declaration of Independence which initiated the founding of the United States of America.

The coup de gras is the current massive tax cut for the .01% that Trump got passed with only RepubliKlan votes only in the congress despite the the fact that only 28% of Americans support the hideous legislation. Unless an abrupt halt occurs in the 2018 midterm elections the U.S.A. is being turned into a neo-facist country controlled by a few thousand people.
