The good thing is they drop you in the middle of the shit. Thinking about it, how many apocalypse movies start you at square one. Yeah you'll get some back story, but you're always joining in in the middle of the story
Most apocalyptic movies do... I am Legend, Mad Max Trilogy, Book of Eli... to name a few. That’s the only Black Mirror episode with hardly any dialogue.
I just wanted a small and minute dialogue to explain some shit from that episode.
That adds to the fun of it. Everyone is coming up with their own backstory.
So they can put consciousness in a fuckin teddy, as we saw in black museum. Maybe someone had stored people and wanted to move them into humans.

What's your theory? Mine is kind of polluted with Horizon Zero Dawn lore. Im thinking the machines were once basic helpers, but somehow they turned into murder machines.
The machines that Aloy fights were originally designed to restore balance to nature after humans were wiped out by cleaning the polluted air and water, and replanting flowers. At some point the factories that make the machines got corrupted and started making killing machines and inserting violent coding into the good machines
I think the robot dog were originally designed as assistants because they don't have any weaponry other than their hardened shells. They have that pneumatic hand attachment but that could have been used to slaughter the pigs that one of the characters mentioned early in the episode. At some point, I think they were reprogrammed by an AI or some ass programmer to start killing.

so far two episodes were dope the first one the star trek jizoint..
and the black museum jizoint...
a few of them were terrible it was like a decent build up but the ending was crap...
(Spoiler review) In my opinion, episode 1 (USA callister) was ok but the idea of your conscious being trapped somewhere else was already done in that white Xmas episode.
Episode 2 (archangel) was cool I suppose but the entire episode was kind of predictable.
Episode 3 (crocodile) I wasn’t really that moved. Nothing special happened. The storyline was also pretty predictable after the first 20 mins. Also, the technology in the episode was already introduced in episodes from previous seasons.
Episode 4 (hang the Dj) I thought this was a new and fresh idea for an episode. I thought it was pretty cool.
Episode 5 (metalhead) was a debacle. This was an absolute waste of money for them to make. Absolutely nothing happened in this episode. No back story to why the earth was a wasteland, no explanation of those fucking dogs, and no explanation of what the fuck was going on. The entire episode reminded me of an old Friday the 13th movie where some cac bitch Is running for her life through the woods the entire episode. Smh

- Chocolate and strawberry flavour Raiman-brand milk are favourites of Robert Daly (Jesse Plemons). In Men Against Fire, "Hunter" Raiman (Madeline Brewer) reveals that her family owns a farm.
- Planets Skillane IV and Rannoch refer to the child child killers in White Bear.

Is a Black Mirror character watching an episode of Black Mirror? Or is this a universe in which the events chronicled in Men Against Fire are recorded and widely disseminated?

- The "Tusk" poster in teenage Sara's bedroom is a nod towards the rapper who becomes a target of the hashtag killers in series three's Hated In The Nation. Her Harlech Shadow poster references the lethal video game from Playtest, in the same season.
- A Waldo lunchbox can be seen when Marie brings Sara to the playground in a buggy (referencing series two's The Waldo Moment).
- The on-demand pornography at the hotel includes Best of Wraith Babes. This is a reference to the series which the Abi character joins on season one's Fifteen Million Merits.
- Irma Thomas's ballad Anyone Who Knows What Love Is (Will Understand) plays in the background repeatedly throughout Crocodile. It is another hat-tip once again to Fifteen Million Merits, in which Abi performs the song on the X Factor-esque Hot Shot.

Started the series on Friday and finished all episodes...love this show, enjoyed all the episodes....I'm gonna have to watch Black museum again, I was mad tired after New years celebrations so I wasn't able to stay awake but I knew it was special..
