Yes he should. Melo is talking a lesser role. Russ had that plasma injection in his knee early in the year. PG is sporadic as fuck. He gets it done defensively though.

i know he's the coach but do you really think Melo gonna bring his A game coming off the bench? He would be better but he's not that "for the team" type guy to do that. Dribbling for 20 seconds is what you get when you put that team together. Why be surprised.. You are correct somewhat IMO though i guess you could say some is on the coach. He's not a leader at all over the team. The team itself has no leadership

ur right about that. it is..but you also have to look at the attitudes of the players on the team. Outside of Pop, who in the league coaching right now could get the most out of Westbrook and Carmelo.. it'll be the same reason why Cousins will never sniff a title

Because moving Melo to the bench doesn't solve the problem. They get no production from the bench and with Roberson playing it would be like playing 3 on 5 instead of 4 on 5. Because Roberson doesn't/can't shoot opponents can double team without fear.
They should have brought more over in the Melo deal, or signed some free agent players like Monte Ellis or Josh Smith to minimum deals. The bench players they have are garbage.
Besides, PG plays better with the second unit than Melo.

Melo is actually taking less shots per game than last year. Russ is your primary issue, lack of bench scoring is secondary.
