How is it irrelevant?
You live in a society that systematically oppresses you. Almost every dollar you spend in Western society is further enriching some white and/or non-black folks.
You're forced to pay taxes. Don't act like you're doing it out of the kindness of your heart. Let the law change to taxes being voluntary, and see how often you pay 'em.

You don't live in a subordinate position in society? You're in an true position of power in the world? Hey, as a black man, you do your best to offset some of that shit, but we not gon' sit here and act like, with all the crap we deal with from white people, BECAUSE we're marginalized into second class citizenship, somehow marrying into a wealthy white family is somehow beneath what we're subject to now.

To reiterate for the second time,yes we do NOT want to pay taxes but as adults we understand why we do, if we dont what will be the motive for a teacher to teach,for someone to pave the roads,the workers to pick up the garbage on the curb??
paying taxes is a necessity...period.whether we want to or not.(everyone pays)
Whomever has the money and power,gives you the money,makes more money will always call the shots.
no one confers to the poor,folks on welfare,or the desolate to ask their opinion on anything important in life.

but for my original point as per marrying a wealthy woman when you youself are not wealthy....its quite simple you will never be in charge of that household,you will be the bitch,you yield no power,she can easily replace you.
you are the subordinate in that house.
no one will allow you to come into their home and rearrange their furniture.
