Official NBA 2017-2018 Thread - Final day of the regular with playoff seating still unknown

Did you actually read my post?

I said they're for real. I said I wasn't willing to bet they'll come outta the East, and you're talking about championships.

FOR REAL means they're actually a threat.

Being a threat don't mean you're the favorite.
Fuck yo post

Facts are facts. Lebron running himself into the ground up here. Rose is about as healthy as corpse. IT probably won't be the same. It's a train wreck up here.:smh:

Chip is great man. But watching how this is ending is just bad as a true fan.

Luke Walton: Lakers who shoot 3-pointers have to make 100 in practice

The Los Angeles Lakers are 6-9 on the season, and are last in the NBA in terms of made 3-pointers per-game.

But wait, it gets worse!

LA is also shooting just 28.8 percent from 3-point range this season, a six point drop from a year ago.

And thus, coach Luke Walton has decided to make some changes.

I mean, this says a lot about the Lakers and where they’re at. Not far from anyone’s mind is the fact that Lonzo Ball has been struggling as of late, averaging 9 points, 6.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per-game while shooting 23 percent from 3-point land. Ball shot 41.2 percent from beyond the arc at UCLA.

Meanwhile, the rest of the squad is struggling and Walton’s handcuffing of practice to game allowance feels a bit … junior for the NBA. This is a young team to be sure, but hopefully for fans in LA it will help encourage more relatable gym habits for the Lakers roster.

My Lakers can't throw it in the Ocean. They need a no threes policy

Lonzo looked shook against Philly, but I luv how Ingram is progressing and Kuzma isn't giving up that starting spot

Dennis Smith, Jr. need to chill out. He's CLEARLY gon' be an All-Star caliber guard, but that nigga be out there trying to dunk on the world.

That mentality, with his talent level, will make him an AS, but he won't get there if he kill himself trying to dunk on Jesus.

And that's why it's hard to put these numbers into historical context. A meaningful 20 then, isn't a meaningful 20 now.:dunno:

Believe or not, that's not a record. Their were a few other teams that had scored more points in a half (all in the 80's/ early 90's)

I agree I mean as a fan gotta like his aggressiveness he isn’t scared or hesitant at all out there but everything doesn’t have to be a dunk

He is among the rookie leaders if not the leading rookies in dunks and everyone else in that number are centers :smh::lol:

The way he lands is the other scary part he jumps so high and then has a weird landing that’s not a good combo

He'll probably learn.

A lot of people don't remember, Kobe got injured TWICE before the regular season started his rookie year. Everything was a fancy dribble into an attack of the basket. The shit was exciting, but it wasn't sustainable. Eddie Jones told him, if he wanted to have a long career, he better learn how to avoid risk.

...but, as for Dennis, that nigga got kangaroo genetics. It has been some high-jumping PG's in the past decade, and that nigga can jump as high as ANY of them niggas.

It will, don't know if they could beat the dubs win it counts
Rockets need to get rid of Ryan Anderson & get a tweenerr pf/sf who can rebound, defend & not afraid to mix it up with cats like Draymond Green. Anderson really isn't need & he puts his tail between his legs during the playoffs.

Lonzo needs to go Kobe style and shoot that shit until it goes in. Rather see him go 0-25 than 0-8. Gotta stay aggressive. Only way to get better as a scorer.
