Any argument that draws some kind of equivalence between Obama & Trump for eg in terms of outcomes for black folks (and frankly all other Americans barring the top 1%) is basically a non starter and demonstrably retarded.

Well, I like Sotomayer. She is sharper than most of the folks on the court. She asks questions that get straight to the point, and she doesn't let anything slide. She is especially important when it comes to women's issues and issues affecting minorities. I'm sure there is an equally qualified black judge somewhere with similar insight, but after she took Texas to task over their attempts to block abortion under the guise of concern for the health of the mother, there is no one I'd rather see on the court. The men had no clue.
