You're late. I told y'all about Costco pumpkin pie last year.
Most store bought pies, pumpkin OR sweet potato, don't have the right texture, they are slimy or seem under cooked. Too much pumpkin, not enough eggs and milk or something. Too much or not enough spice. Costco mag had a write up last year about how they made them that seemed promising and I took a chance since the middle looked set. Theirs has a good texture even though it is huge. Last year I was buying one each week.
That said, this year's pie doesn't taste as good as last year's. The texture is still good, but the flavor was off. I've only purchased one, about 2 weeks ago, and we ate maybe 1/3 of it. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch.
They have an apple pie I took a chance on this week because it seemed like it had a nice, thick crust, but the filling was trash.
As far as pumpkin vs. sweet potato, we always baked both each year. I've never had anyone turn down my pumpkin pie. I've been on a pumpkin bread kick the last few years though. Even people who say they don't like pumpkin pie like my bread.
Don't bother. They are kind of ok if you bake it for a bit like the box recommends, but not even close to home made.
I bought their beef hotdogs before. I thought they were ok, but my brother loved them. They cook up great in the air fryer.
What they have that is REALLY good, is the mac n cheese. They use the same type of noodles I do when I make mine. Last year I did a short cut and bought that for thanksgiving. I'll probably do it again this year, too. I liked their stuffed peppers also.

It's funny as fuck, but it's damn near spot on. You can tell what neighborhood you're in by the amount of sweet potato versus pumpkin pies. If you are in a predominantly black neighborhood it's like 90/10. If you're in a predominantly white neighborhood it's flip-flopped.
