Uncle Luke at the BET awards

Man....I get what he saying but Cardi B? Even she had to laugh at that shit.

Luke is underrated. He influenced a whole Miami culture of rap.

And business wise......he was before his time.

Anyone know who was the first label owner that was a rapper? I can't think of anyone prior to Luke.........

There is a lot of people who took luke for a joke because of the booty shaken but I'm here to tell you behind the scenes he was no joke. Late 80s early 90s in Miami was fun because of Luke

See I was barely born back then.....for my generation I know we took Luke for granted......I mean even me....like I remember them Luke Freakshow tapes....that's more so what I credit him for.

Hell of a read, and history lesson.

Most people dont know luke is the reason they put Parental Advisory Stickers on cds

I don't like the fact that her wack ass song went number 1. But her grind and hustle I definitely applaud. I agree with Luke on that. He wasn't mentioning anything about how good or music was. Plus I'm sure he has a soft spot for strippers. Very good acceptance speech by Uncle Luke. Kept that shit a buck.

I'd say Eazy E even though technically he didn't start off as a rapper. :dunno:

Nope your correct Luke was the first

Touche. I respect her come up tho

What's the come up? I respect her for getting out the strip club and becoming a rapper.....but I don't know.....I don't think she's doing nothing anyone else can't do. She has charisma and is funny...she got that going for her.

I don't knock people for liking her.... I'm just not a fan. Shes fuckable though when her mouth closed.

I thought people were fags if they didn't like booty music in clubs. Not liking hoes slinging ass and pussy to 180 beats per minute songs was crazy to me.
It was time to freak the shit out a bitch when Luke came on. I remember niggas in Jersey and NY mad as fuck when Luke came on. They wanted to stand around in a cypher looking mad to Nas.

Luke wasn't a rapper.

Maybe up in some hardcore hip hop spot but I can't ever remember dudes in a club wanting to or actually standing around in cypher. House music was heavy during that time and dudes was freaking bitches and not standing around in cypher.
