this is exactly why finding good honest help is so hard. i worked janitorial services for a long time way back when. I worked in law offices, insurance companies, and business offices. These mofos would leave money around the office, lying in the ground and purse/bags open within plan view. This is the first cardinal rule of providing any services based on you going into a customer's workspace or home....DONT TOUCH SHIT UNLESS YOU BROUGHT IT WITH YOU. Mofos can and will use incidents like this to get out of contracts and you will have effed your money up and your employers if you aint the boss. I had a lady leave 20 dollars on the floor once, under the trashcan. there is no way she could have accidently placed it there. she waited outside until me and the crew were about to leave, then came running back in talking about she lost 20 dollars. i gave her a big customer service smile and told her that we did find 20 dollars under the trashcan and placed into her desk drawer with a note from the crew. I also informed her that we took the liberty of notifying the office manager (our POC, her boss) about the "found" money. She looked at me and then went back in. I looked at the crew and told them, we dont play games with our customers but they sometimes their employees play games with us. Our newest on the crew, said you fixed her ass though. I smiled and said thats todays life lesson for you.
