haven't watched the last batch but definitely not a good fit.

Lita is horrible providing color commentary and JR isn't as plugged in as he used to be.

They should've paired JR with Corey Graves or Nigel, but I can see why they wanted a woman in the booth.

With that said and all the programming they have, the wwe should look into developing a woman play by play or color commenter. They have a woman ref now.

WWE 2K18 Coverage

wwe-2k18-roster-missing-superstars-analysis.jpg

With today's final WWE 2K18 Roster Reveal #4, we now know the full list of on-disc playable Superstars in the game, which features a record total of 174 unique characters - not including duplicates and alternate versions.

The WWE 2K18 Roster is already the largest in history of WWE Games, and it's expected to grow even more with several DLC Superstars (to be announced soon) that will be added after the release of the game.

But how many wrestlers didn't make the cut, at least for the launch-day Roster? Let's take a look at the Superstars & Women that are currently missing from WWE 2K18, with a note for those that are the most likely to be included as Downloadable Content at a later date.

Main Roster Superstars not included:
  1. The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) - returned at WrestleMania, very likely to be DLC
  2. Elias Samson - in NXT for a long time, now on Raw, very likely to be DLC
  3. James Ellsworth
  4. Lana - could be in the game as Manager
  5. Singh Brothers (Samir & Sunil)
  6. Mike & Maria Kanellis - debuted late (July 2017), will probably not make DLC
  7. Shelton Benjamin - returned late (August 2017), will probably not make DLC
205 Live Superstars / Cruiserweights not included:
  1. Ariya Daivari
  2. Drew Gulak
  3. Lince Dorado
  4. Mustafa Ali
  5. Tony Nese
    (possible 205 Live DLC Pack?)
NXT Superstars not included:
  1. Aleister Black
  2. Aliyah
  3. Andrade Cien Almas - has been in NXT for years, weird exclusion, very likely to be DLC
  4. Drew McIntyre
  5. Liv Morgan
  6. Mandy Rose
  7. Oney Lorcan
  8. Otis Dozovic
  9. Ruby Riot
  10. Sonya Deville
  11. The Velveteen Dream
  12. Tucker Knight
  13. William Regal (GM)
UK Superstars not included (main):
  1. Tyler Bate
  2. Pete Dunne
  3. Trent Seven
Missing Superstars from WWE 2K17
The WWE 2K18 Roster features almost every Superstar that appeared in WWE 2K17 (including DLC), with the exception of a few names, that either left WWE, or were excluded from the game for other reasons. Here are the characters that were removed from the game compared to last year's Roster.

Superstars:

  1. Alberto Del Rio - released September 9, 2016
  2. Austin Aries - released July 7, 2017
  3. Blake - only appeared on TV once in the past year
  4. Bubba Ray Dudley - retired August 22, 2016
  5. D-Von Dudley - retired August 22, 2016
  6. Eva Marie - released August 4, 2017
  7. Jack Swagger - released March 1, 2017
  8. Murphy - has never appeared on TV in the past year
  9. Simon Gotch - released April 4, 2017
  10. Stardust / Cody Rhodes - released May 21, 2017
Legends:

  1. Albert
  2. Arn Anderson
  3. Billy Gunn
  4. Brian Pillman
  5. Papa Shango - might be in WWE 2K18 as un-announced duplicate of the Godfather
  6. Road Dogg
  7. Vince McMahon
Managers

The WWE 2K18 Managers list has not been disclosed in the Roster Reveal, so it's very likely that the following names will end up being in WWE 2K18, despite not being announced yet as of right now:

  1. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
  2. Lana
  3. Ted DiBiase Sr.
  4. Mr. McMahon

Asuka relinquishes the NXT Women's Title to seek new challengers: WWE NXT, Sept. 6, 2017

I like her but as with most NXT callups, shes more than likely going to suck on the main roster.

NXT crowd is like ECW, in that they are smart, know their shit, and are close to the talent.

WWE should have just pushed NXT as a true third brand/option exclusive to the Network, instead of using it as a farm league.

Asuka about to be watered down like Nakamura and Balor.

I hate Graves he's a horrible announcer. They need to put him back on NXT, he sucks at being a heel announcer.
You and me both. He does whatever he has to to agree with the heels.
Heel Wrestler - Grass is hot pink.
Cole - What is he talking about?
Graves - What are YOU talking about?! The grass has always been hot pink. Something is wrong with your eyes. Only a select few of us can see it the correct way.

I loved commentary from Jesse Ventura and Bobby the Brain. Graves just feels forced to me at times. But I deal with it.
Yeah man. Heenan and Jesse were GOAT heel commentators. Nothing was forced with them. They were funny as hell too.

Graves WISHES he could come up with "This isn't fair to Flair" or the cracks Heenan came up about the Hart family during the Survivor series.

The Heenan line where Marty Janetty "tried to escape through the window like a coward" is one of the greatest heel lines ever.

Apparently they're giving away Cena vs Stowman on free tv tonight. That seems like a big 4 PPV match but maybe they have something planned :dunno:

Didnt Janetty and Michaels legit hate each other before this?

 Heenan saying then even tho it was clear as day that HBK kicked him into that glass (which was real, not the breakaway kind)
They got into a fight before over Janetty bluffing about going to WCW after they were being shafted in pay over a cereal commercial.
