Kyrie Irving requesting trade out of Cleveland to find bigger role

Man, nobody wants fucking Kevin Love

His stock has dropped immensely
You can flip Love and Tristan Thompson and that Nets First round pick to the Knicks for Melo and Porzingis. The sign Wade once he accepts his buyout from the Bulls

Fam.... youre basically saying it is a good deal trading a top 3 PG, 25 years old JUST entering his prime, for an overrated 5-9 one dimensional player who you may only have one year? So, basically a Kyrie for a POTENTIAL top 5 pick? Cool...

Who saying Thomas is gone?
Shit he haven't even got there yet?

:hmm:

They wouldn't accept that shit in 2K

"Major" loss... please? Kyrie to IT is not a major drop off in the most aggressive stance and they added defensive help and a top 5 pick... this is a good move for both teams... as a sixers fan, I do understand why you wouldn't value a top 5 pick though
always getting tender bruh... :smh:

It is a major loss especially when you compare the center pieces, Kyrie vs IT, AND there is no guarantee that top 5 pick will be a player they can use or will end up being a quality player. You are trading away a proven star in his prime at 25 years old for a lot of what ifs, biggest of which you will have to overpay a 5-9 overrated liability on a team which more than likely will NOT have LeBron on it after this season, and there is a very real probability you won't have either of them after this season...
Boston got the best of this deal, top 5 pick notwithstanding, and it will possibly end up being an embarrassingly one sided trade...

Actually thats not what I said.

1. I said the trade keeps the Cavs as the favorites to go back to the finals.

2. I said im shocked that the Celtics included a high draft pick in the trade. I used Phoenix as an example of a team who refused to part ways with their high pick to get Kyrie.

3. I said there is no trade out there that could possibly get them a better player then Kyrie, so no matter what they werent gonna get better.

4. Im not dismissive of Crowder. Dude can do work coming off the bench.

5. I said Kyrie gets to live his dream, and I cant wait to see how it turns out, cause dude is magic on this court.

1. they could have just kept Kyrie and still be favorites to go back to the finals... a PROVEN player who they have won a chip with already. Not a 5-9 overrated player who got toasted and disappeared in last years playoffs. This was NOT a move the HAD to make, especially getting so little in immediate returns. Kyrie >>>> IT and that gap will become more evident as the season progesses
2. Agreed
3. Sure there is, and at this point if there wasn't you don't trade him. To take back 50 cent on the dollar was not a bright move either. Even with the top 5 pick, the Cavs could end up with a roster of Love, and a top 5 pick and a lot of ??????
4. Crowder is a good role player. Slightly to moderately better than Shumpert, who is still on the roster by the way. Not a put a team over the top type of player, he proved that in last years playoffs. A slight above throw in level player essentially.
5. Agreed.

If this deal could have been done it would have been done bruh... Nobody wants love or thompson at that price... Especially giving up a young stud like Prozingas...

You're right the first round pick sweetens the deal. Although it will not happen you will get nothing in return for Melo and Porzingis stated that he did not want to be there. The only way you will get any assets back is to trade KP

Either he's gone or you overpay a one dimensional 5-9 player to stay...
Either way, the Cavs take an L. This whole trade has eventual L written all over it for the Cavs in my opinion... :smh:

Well I do understand his height and all that...but he damn sho made Boston a house hold name again...
So that's something in its own...

I'm all for players getting paid so I don't give a fuck about that money shit...

This trade is the best trade that they got presented with...its not like the fucking kings and shipping boogie to Nola or the pacers shipping Paul to okc...

They got a vet, player on rookie contract and a protected pick...

Plus they send Kyrie to a team that wasn't on his list....that's a win in its own for them

Knicks first round pick isn't guaranteed to be top 5 bruh. They don't move a commodity like KP on a roll of the dice.

It's one season Bruh, then he disappeared when they needed him the most. The Cavs don't win the chip without Unc. U just don't move a prime proven talent just entering his prime for potential a one year rental and a roll of the dice draft pick. Especially when that one year rental is <<< than what u gave up... :smh:

We agree on how great of a player Kyrie is and will be.

Im not sure I would have taken the risk of going into camp with that toxic environment.

I havent heard of a better offer made to them so far anyways.
