Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

I don't think so. I think Littlefinger got in Sansa's head talking about Arya would never hurt her and Brienne being there to serve both of them. I think Sansa is calculating Brienne would be a threat to her so she sent her away, but she is leaving herself vulernable to Littlefinger. She thinks the guard would protect her.

The spat they had they were alone, there was no audience to witness or take word back to Littlefinger. I think their feud is real because they don't trust each other yet. All they have is childhood memories of each other. Sansa was selfish. Arya rebellious. Neither of them have true reason to trust each other unconditionally yet, IMO.

There is nothing calculating about Sansa. She tries to act like Cercei yet fails miserably, the sad part about it Cersei isn't a good at calculating herself.

Also, the reason, why there feud is real, because Sansa could of did the right thing all the way back in season 1.Instead,she sided with someone she barely knows and then told Cersei about Ned taking her and Arya back to Winterfell

^^ This. I agree.

Remember back in season 1, when Arya & Sansa were heading to Kings Landing... Joffrey attacked Arya's little buddy (the Butcher's Boy) by the river and Nymeria bit him... and Sansa couldn't just tell the TRUTH about what happened that day. :hmm:

The end result...
- Arya had to chase Nymeria away, for good. :smh:
- The Butcher's Boy got killed by the Hound. :smh:
- And Ned was FORCED to kill Sansa's direwolf (Lady) :smh:

THAT's the version of Sansa... that Arya still remembers BEST.

Self-serving. Bratty. Stuck Up. Eager-to-be-Royalty...
And totally INCAPABLE of supporting House Stark, if it interferes with her 'big dreams' of being a Queen somewhere.

Sansa's big problem is... she likes what the name Stark can DO for HER... but SHE doesn't DO much for the name Stark, in return.

So Sansa acting like she is 'special' now, because she got shifty-ass Littlefinger to bring the Vale.. at the last damn minute.

(SIDENOTE: And btw, why the fuck does she keep running to HIM for advice?? :hmm: It's long past time to 'make a final decision'... Either fuck this dude's brains out. Marry him. Kill him. Or tell him to bounce immediately. Just pick ONE. Simple as that. All them "Littlefinger is not to be trusted' speeches Sansa keeps making.... don't mean shit anymore... especially if HE's the 'shoulder she cries on' whenever shit hits the fan :hmm:)

Meanwhile, Arya been out here 'snatching justice' for the family name... and steady killing 'whole bloodlines' & wiping any suckas off the map who ever DARED to double-cross anyone named Stark.

Arya's like... "Bitch Please!!!" :hmm:
"Muhfuka, do you realize HOW MUCH (WET)WORK I have 'put in' (singlehandedly) for the HONOR of House Stark?!?" :hmm:

"Don't get it twisted..... You look ALOT like Fredo Corleone standing next to ME, right about now." :hmm:
"Simmer down. You got me fucked up." :hmm:

Honestly, it might be time for Sansa's 'grand exit' in the next episode :dunno: Just saying.
Sansa is only needed for Littlefinger's storyline.... because she ain't got shit for Cersei. :smh: She will NEVER be ready to take her on.

Although I doubt Arya would kill her... I actually wouldn't mind if Arya gets rid of BOTH her & Littlefinger. At the same time.

Let the final season 8 focus on the War for Westeros... Between Dany, the Lannisters, Jon Snow & the Night King.
Cause I can't take another 6 or 7 (90-minute) episodes of Sansa acting trifling.... then running back-n-forth to Littlefinger for solutions.

Sansa don't need to... 'Fight every battle. Everywhere. Always. In her mind' :smh:...
Sansa just needs to... 'Fight just ONE battle. In her mind. About Littlefinger. And make a decision.'

c/s

the bold

Everyone is putting in work except for her ass.

She's one of those people that will throw your ass under the bus,if you're a family member, but will do everything in her power to support someone that's outside of the family just to get what she wants.

Yeah her confiding in him almost had me yelling at the tv. Tho she really only has him, Arya or Brienne to choose from, and she is suspicious of all three for one reason or another.

HBO NOW is a good service but damn. Shit was reloading ecery fucking minute literally. I just got done watching the episode. Hbo need to step their shit up.

ya fuck them...just canceled the shit...my subscription was gonna run out in a couple days anyway...glad it acted up before I renewed this shit

she cried more over jon than she did the dragon
she ain't want to go at all she looked at him like that's my man
that's why when she got the raven she wasn't about to let her man die
she didn't even take 1 she took ALL 3 that's how you know it's real
she rode straight there no water breaks and gave the command 1 got clapped up but she got jon tho

You got me dying reading this shit at 5am. Waking up the whole damn house.

I thought I told yall. The entire argument is to throw Littlefinger off?
They are not really fighting. They are putting on a show to flip it on him.
He thinks this letter is gonna make them upset and hate each other.
However, they are over the letter. Arya knows that Sansa isn't a warrior.

I think this is true now that I think about it.

Sophie Turner is too damn fine to be fuckin around like that....:smh:

Surely Aiden G wasnt the only one on set asking 'what that tongue do'..

Just think about where the fantasy genre has us though.... "white walkers" killed a dragon...then had their zombie slaves chain it and pull it out of the water so that the head white walker could reannimate it with a touch of his hand...... and the chains are what we question

I see what you are saying, but to me, the chains actually broke the fantasy emersion. I mean if something the size of a dragon fell in a lake in the real world, I would expect people to use some type of salvage operation involving chains to pull it up. In a fantasy world, I want something a little more "Fantastic"!

Instead of chains, I would have had the Night King raise the dragon like he did the dead at Hardhome then give him the Extra touch required to make him Frosty Blue

I guess one benefit of the chains approach, it that it shows that some decent amount of time has passed, because they NK army had to leave the scene of the battle, go wherever they went to get the chains and then come back.

The cgi used for the dragons is phenomenal especially in HD. That GOT budget is definitely being put to good use

If you watch some of the SFX videos for the show on HBO or youtube, you'd be surprised at how much green screen and CGI duplication is used on the show. Almost any scene with big exterior backdrop is enhanced with SFX tech to make it seem larger or more grand.

I said something similar to this 100 pages ago lol.
People kill me here

So if My little pony's show up next week you would be cool with it since its just fantasy right? Come on fam just because its fantasy doesn't mean we shouldnt expect some type of realism or that the writers can just pull some randoms shit out of the air.

Daenerys says she cant have kids, and some people have said she can only have kids with another Targeryans if thats true how is it Rhaegar got the Stark girl pregnant?

^^ They did leave & come back.

Watch the scene again... When they pull the dragon out of the water.
ALOT of ice had formed right over the hole where it fell into the water.

The Army of the Dead broke the ice as they dragged it out of the lake.
If the chains were nearby... they would have pulled it straight out of the water.

Maybe the men can get any women pregnant, but the women can't get pregnant unless it's by a Targeryan:dunno:

ima keep it for right now. But ima just let it run out. Until the end of the month. If it is true that season 8 wont air until late 2019. I think I might consider getting cable again. Unless they can improve the streaming on there end.

Daenerys says she cant have kids, and some people have said she can only have kids with another Targeryans if thats true how is it Rhaegar got the Stark girl pregnant?
Dany womb was damaged after the witch performed that ceremony. On kahl drogo. Targeryans can have kids outside their bloodline. Thats how the blackfyres came to be. Dameon blackfyre is the bastard kid of aegon targaryen IV.

Yeah her confiding in him almost had me yelling at the tv. Tho she really only has him, Arya or Brienne to choose from, and she is suspicious of all three for one reason or another.
Yup, Sansa is suspicious of everybody mainly because… Sansa has always placed her TRUST in the wrong people, imo.
  • She trusted Cersei & the Lannisters… who forced her to write the letter to Rob. :smh:
  • She trusted Littlefinger… who double-crossed Ned… and got him captured by the Lannisters. :smh:
  • She trusted Joffrey… who treated her like shit, plus beat & abused her every chance he had. :smh:
  • She trusted Littlefinger again… who convinced her to marry Ramsey in order to avenge her family somehow. :smh:
  • She trusted Shae… who implicated her during Tyrion’s trial for killing Joffrey. :smh:
  • She trusted Ramsey… who raped her, plus beat & abused her every chance he had. :smh:
  • She trusted Theon… who ratted out the ‘old maid’ woman who tried to help her with the candles. :smh:
But it seems Arya is NOT buying her ‘perpetual victim’ routine…. And I don’t blame her.
Because Sansa has only ‘the victim’ mostly because of her OWN dumbass choices.

When she has had the chance to ‘help herself’… and take control of her own destiny… she has declined on several occasions. :smh:
  • She didn’t trust The Hound… when he offered to take her back to Winterfell.
  • She didn’t trust Littlefinger… when he offered to take her back to Winterfell.
  • She didn’t trust Lady Brienne… when she offered her services to protect her, the 1st time they met.
  • She didn’t trust Lord Royce & Lady Waynwood at the Vale… because she CHOSE to lie to protect Littlefinger after he killed Lysa.
  • She didn’t trust the Old Maid at Winterfell… and didn’t use those candles until she had NO OTHER options left.
  • She didn’t trust Jon… and lied about the Blackfish, the Vale & the size of Ramsey’s Army.
So, if Sansa wants to ‘play the game of thrones’ nowadays… she shouldn’t really get upset if her family starts questioning her decisions & her motivations & her sketchy cohorts… based on all the bullshit she has pulled in the past. :hmm:

Right now, she's like the teenage brat who wrecks her parents vehicles every single time they let her drive without an adult chaperone... and has the audacity to BRAG about the ONE vehicle she didn't wreck ... while 'getting offended' when they start accusing her of being a 'careless driver'.

dude picked a moving dragon when one dragon was chilling, like shit is getting dumb
all these forced rushed reunion stories
a dude ran his ass all the way back to the wall in like one minute
this show gotten worse w each season
this dude three a fucking ice sickle stick to a moving dragon when it was one rt in front of him WTF
so jon kills a white walker and these bony fuckers all die , except one doesn't stays alive to be captured, oh that's right they had some cheesy conversation about the one that turns them, LOL
plot holes grow with each ep, is so comical
shit so predictable,
a bear attacks and everyone just stands, but they fight off all them zombies though lol
dude threw a javelin to a moving dragon, when he coulda just ended all this reunion circle jerk with what was in front of him
so a bunch of zombies run and the ice doesn't crack,? but it cracks when the hound taps it with that bullshit as hammer
this season coming off like some fan fiction shit

This season is the worst. I know everyone is excited b/c of the pace and the amount of action happening on screen, but if you break everything down, it has turned into a complete shit show.

- In the past, when has Dany ever cared enough about someone "bending the knee"?
- Tyrion saves King's Landing from Stannis but is outwitted b y Jamie and Cersei?
- Dany has dragons and superior army but will not march on King's Landing ?
- Let's go north of the wall and capture a white walker to show to Cersei? Why?

I could go on but you get the point.

unless this was mentioned in the series that doesn't count, also from the wiki

Daemon was the bastard son of Aegon IV Targaryen and his first cousin Daena the Defiant, the infamous daughter of Aegon III Targaryen.

So he is the bastard of two Targaryens anyways

I disagree.

- Dany conquered 3 major cities in Essos. (Astapor, Yunkai & Mereen).
- And they each 'fell to pieces' soon after she left... MOSTLY BECAUSE... she didn't make any of those Old Masters 'bend the knee'. :smh:
- She learned from her mistakes. Now she changing it up. Being more aggressive.

- Tyrion didn't save Kings Landing 'all by himself' :smh:... Stannis was storming the beach (and winning ) until Lord Tywin showed up with the whole Tyrell Army.... Tyrion just held Stannis off until 'the cavalry' came.

- Blame Tyrion & Jon for Dany refusing to march on Kings Landing. (Thats' EXACTLY what she wants to do. But they keep telling her NOT to do it. Because it will cause too much panic & mayhem. That's not Dany's fault. :smh:)

- Jon Snow needs ALL the 'living people' to fight the Army of the Dead. (Including Cersei. Who also had a Large Army at her disposal.)

a lot of folks brought this up...but I'm wondering if it's just lighting...the hilt was made by mormont so how/why would it possess magical qualities all of a sudden?
Actually Lord Mormont replaced the bear hilt with that of a wolf

I thought a lot about this and I think the root cause of the problem is due to having to work without the source material at this point. D&D know the end game and finale, but don't have the authors writing chops. So they are basically working backward from the final show and connecting the various plot pieces that have to be in place to get to the conclusion.

The latest set of of episodes are schizophrenic in that their are pieces that feel source material influenced then others that feel like means to an ends. The best example is the suicide mission to the North. I just don't feel like GRRM would have done anything close to that, but D&D probably have been told that the NK has to get an Ice Dragon to be in the big final battle So the ShowRunners say given where all these characters are we just gonna throw them together north of the wall so Dany has to save them.

I think the Sansa / Arya conversation is another example of this. Although in this case I think the show writers are being intentionally schizo here to thow off the show watcher as to what is actually happening.

On the other hand I think the Dany/Tyrion stuff has been really good. It's so bizarre that in the books Tyrion hasn't even got to meet Dany yet.

I agree. They seem to be trading spectacle for substance and some of this isht is just getting silly. Plus the travel times. And, explain how Dany and the dragons know exactly where the loot train and the White Walkers are and fly right there in a fuhkin jiffy with no GPS?
