This the first episode in a long time where I felt like the writers really didn't have no source material to draw from and just decided to wing it.

A lot of stuff happened, but it felt cheap and rushed to me.

1. Gilly drops what may be the second biggest secret in the whole story and it just slips by without notice wtf?
2. Cersei spends years trying to have Tyrion killed and she just lets him and Jamie meet with no consequences other than a some fake Godfather "never betray the family line?"
3. Why was Gendry so pressed to leave KL? What stopped him from leaving before?
4. The whole trip to the wall to steal a Wight to show Cersei feels dumb to me. If they really wanted to impress Cersei, they would have kidnapped Qyburn and let him see one. Seriously it was like a bad Star Trek episode where the Captain and all the Senior Staff have to be in the landing party of the this weeks' dangerous planet. I guess they liked the Suicide Squad movie concept.

The only parts that felt right to me were Dany killing them Tarlys and Littlefinger getting back on his game.

1. Who would notice it? Why would Sam notice those names they don't mean anything to him. Nothing.
2. No she let them meet because she heard Jamie and she knows she can't win with force so she's buying time. That was clear.
3. Davos. He was waiting for the man who saved his life to tell him it was time to go. He said clearly you were right the best place to hide is right under the queen's nose. He didn't want to be there and he would only leave if the guy responsible for saving him said it was time to.
4. I guess you're entitled to your opinion but yea I don't agree with that AT ALL

he is only heir if at the end of this story a king / Queen releases him from his oath
Very True. Agreed.

However, I doubt it would be hard to 'get out' of the Night's Watch.... when your 'best friend' is the King of the North.

Even if Sam returned to Castle Black... he would prolly pretend to be the new Maester only until he could send one raven to Winterfell... asking Jon 'get me the hell outta here'. :D

In fact, he wouldn't even need to go back to Castle Black... he could drive that family wagon straight to Winterfell and cut out all the 'middle men'.

Jon would pardon him... right on the spot. Before his wife & kid even had a chance to climb off the wagon and introduce themselves to the rest of the Starks.

Plus Jorah Mormont would advise Dany to do the same, if she became Queen at the end of the series.

Wait hold up... Randall & Dickon BOTH got executed... which means that Sam is now the RIGHTFUL HEIR to House Tarly & the castle at Horn Hill.

And his mother LOVES Gilly & Baby Sam.

Welp, I was kinda right...

- He cured Jorah. Like a Boss.
- He stole some books from the Citadel...
- So he 'technically' got some Maester Chains.
- Plus he got stacks of Inherited Wealth...

Sam IS officially... Ghostface of Westeros. :D

Damn,

Does this mean Jon has links/communication skills to Direwolf AND Dragons? Lawwwdddd!

So in the show we've only seen Bran and some wildings display more than a fair amount of Warging ability. The Stark kids do have connections with their wolves though. In the Book Bran, John and Arya have more than a fair amount of warging ability... Arya connected with a cat and John connected with an Owl and another creature I think too....

Why did they decide to end the series and split the season over 2 years anyway? This show could have ran for a couple more years.

The show is based on underlying material. I know there is a decent amount of divergence but there are limitations to how far they can stretch it and still make it for TV. The book has way too many story lines that need to be resolved where it's at. The show slimmed down but still has to hit story archs in somewhat similar ways...

Yep the WW will get their own dragon. Viserion is gonna die saving Jon and his gang in the process of catching a WW to prove that they exist.

Y'all keep talking about a damn ice ww dragon, but that army doesn't have one fucking animal in it. Not one.

So all of a sudden he resurrects dragon now?

He did but no one saw him. I think the two little ones was happy to be free. Drogon prolly would have ate him.

It didn't eat him because he's a Targeryan. They've actually all but stated it. Note how he says to Jamie "father didn't hate me for what I did, he hated me for what I am" he's a Targeryan bastard.

Speculation that he is a targaryin.

Fans want that to be true.

Cersi and his dad hates him cause his birth killed their mother

So, wife is watching a YouTube vid of the plot for the next episode. This vid was made last year. I heard the first 5 or so lines of the plot and started cussing. Had to leave the room and shut the door so I couldn't hear the video.

Next episode will be fucking epic. :eek2:

I just watched same video.

Doesnt really spoil it for me.

I still need to see it happen.

I know it's a show but being that close to a fire that can melt stone should kill you. Js

Dream team ain't comin back whole.

Man the night king can break that shit with a glance.

Cerci and finger need to die already

I really enjoyed this episode.I even enjoyed Daenerys little part this week.

Arya saw through Sansa's bullshit. Then again the whole conflict between Arya/Sansa/Jon is poor writing in the first place, because there's no reason to be angry at one another after the shit the went through. You would think they would of developed Sansa after all these years, but I guess not.

People need to stop underestimating Sam

And,we get a Gendry sighting,I was just talking about him last week....:giggle:

So.. ahh.. err..umm... Euron and Jamie have NOT finished their conversation yet.

Ahem... (*clears throat*)

For some reason... I think Cersei told a BOLDFACE LIE to Jamie tonight.

Because I'm thinking that Euron  is the actual Father of Cersei's new (unborn) child... Not Jamie. :smh:

In these 2 scenes below...
- Cersei is showing that she is 'a few steps' ahead of Jamie... about certain things.
- Even when faced against outrageous odds... she was ready to DIE, earlier in the episode... and was angry that Jamie wasn't also.
- And she was 'seething' because she felt Jamie betrayed her for meeting with Tyrion.

- But it was her SUDDEN change in temperament, in this 2nd clip, later in the episode.
- She didn't expect to get pregnant by Euron. (That's why 'Doctor Qybyrn' keeps visiting her room)
- Now she is thinking like Tywin... and exploiting the situation to her advantage.

Think about it...
- Cersei managed to keep Robert Baratheon 'in the dark' about Joffrey, Marella & Tommen... for YEARS.
- Therefore, I think she ALREADY slept with Euron ... and Jamie is just playing catch-up. :smh:
- But Euron is prolly gonna let Jamie know it... in the MOST DISRESPECTFUL manner possible.
- And it will be the 2nd part of their 'brotherly conversation'. :D

Wait for it.

Ask yourself...
Where was Euron while Jamie was escorting the Tyrell Gold back to Kings Landing... and dodging all that Dragonfire? :dunno:

Last we seen him... he was attacking the Unsullied ships at Casterly Rock, in episode 3.

If he got to Casterly Rock 'so quickly'... then surely Euron could have ALSO sailed his speedy battleships back to Kings Landing BEFORE Jamie could escort hundreds of very slow-moving / extremely heavy wagons full of grain... while Bron was 'convincing stubborn farmers to surrender their harvest' along the way... plus managing THOUSANDS of Lannister soldiers... who are literally MARCHING ON FOOT across Westeros.

That whole caravan was moving so slowly... that Dany actually had time to sail her Dothraki Army down from Dragonstone... then around the bend (probably into Storm's End, since they didn't go through Blackwater Bay, right past Kings Landing :smh:)... then stampede across the land to 'cut them off at the pass' before they reached Blackwater Rush. (Right before Dany attacked, Randyll Tarly tells Jamie: "We need to get the last of these wagons over the Blackwater Rush before nightfall" - So you can kinda tell where they were on the map below)

If Dany could move 'that fast' across water... then Euron could move MUCH FASTER across water.

Just my opinion.
