It's not that hard to explain.I thought so too...but idk how they explain/justify the height/weight differences when she's disguised...for example walder frey as old as he is still is bigger than her...but he hunches severely so it wouldn't be hard for her to pass as him...plus she was sitting down too...idk if she can/how she would pull off jamie...but if it's possible w/in the realm of the show...then that'd be a much better prediction than tyrion
It's not that hard to explain.
Arya could not replicate all of Walder Frey's mannerisms & match his voice perfectly... just by simply wearing a 'mask of his flesh'.
So there's definitely some type of supernatural (faceless man) magic involved in the whole transformation process.
It's more than just disguising their face... seems more like they (temporarily) might absorb a person's whole mind, body & soul. (Keyword: might)
However, when you only have a limited amount of time every episode... the 'face' itself is just a visual metaphor (or 'plot device') to explain the whole 'process' very quickly & easily to the viewing audience... without having to get really bogged down in all the 'fine details' that might require extensive amounts of CGI to produce an effect that looks similar to Bruce Banner whenever he transforms into the Hulk, just to please a few nitpicky fans.
And judging from the 'level of quality' of the show... if they are going to show how the whole 'transformation' actually happens... they are going to 'do it right'... and put some serious time & effort into it.
Think about this also... the Showrunners have said it is too costly & time consuming just to add more Direwolf scenes... in addition to the Dragons.
So if the Producers have to choose between spending their (limited) time & resources on bringing difficult CGI animations to life for the Direwolves, the Dragons, or the 'Transformation Process of a Faceless Man'.... then I think the Wolves & Dragons are easily going to get the most attention... because they are much more compelling to the majority of the audience (and more important) in terms of moving MULTIPLE storylines forward, all at the same time.
Pretty sure they could 'go in depth' about how it all works... it's just a matter if they want to 'sacrifice' doing more stuff with the Direwolves, or Dragons later on.
Just my opinion.
Darthrokie vs. Soldiers(Lannisters, Stark etc types) vs. Unsullied. Who are the most well-rounded fighters? I asked because the Dartrokie dude told little man his people can't fight for shit. Are the Darthrokie pretty much better all around fighters?
I wonder if it has a literal connection to jaime and maybe it being a woman who kills cersei...this isn't a spoiler...pure speculation...I have my $$$ on arya perhaps disguised as tyrion killing her although it'd be impossible for "tyrion" to get anywhere near her given current circumstances
I could be wrong but that looked like body double. There's a super quick cut after she kisses Jaime and another quick cut after she puts on the robe and turns around.
Arya could kill and face grab the clean sheets chick to get close to Cersi.
I would buy all of that if she didn't pull off the face like a regular mask every time
Where's episode 5 at?Anyone else see episode 5 yet?

And have no dicks so they probably like fuck it...but their main weapons are spears and I don't like that.
not to say it isn't possible...but that wouldn't "fulfill" the little brother 'prophecy' that we have tho
Anyone else see episode 5 yet?

It's spectacular!Game of Thrones cinematographer teases two “surprising and epic” and "crowd-pleasing" episodes ahead
Robert McLachlan reveals that episode four will "impress people", while episode five is "very satisfying"

Game of Thrones fans: we’re in for a treat. Yes, we already knew that from glimpses of dragon-filled skies and fiery battlefields in the season seven trailers, but now RadioTimes.com has been given a few more clues about what’s to come after speaking to Robert McLachlan, an award-winning Thrones cinematographer who worked on a pair of upcoming episodes. And they sound incredible.
Although naturally tight-lipped about exact details, McLachlan dropped potential hints of a White Walker battle towards the season’s close and teased that we’re in for a treat from a “surprising and epic” episode four and a “very satisfying” and "crowd-pleasing" episode five.
He told us: “I’m extremely pleased with them. Four is definitely going to impress people and five I especially like too – there are some lovely crowd-pleasing scenes in it.”
He went on to say episode four was his favourite of the two, hinting “it was really hard work – uncommonly hard work. It was the toughest one I’ve done of the eight episodes I’ve worked on.”
So, what will the “surprising and epic” episode four feature? Perhaps a battle further south featuring some unexpected characters? Could the “surprising” element be the death of a major player in brutal Thrones style? #PleaseNotTyrion
And, arguably more interesting, what will happen in the “very satisfying” and “crowd-pleasing” episode five? Well we may just have another clue to that. McLachlan revealed that David Nutter had originally been scheduled to direct episode four and five, but after undergoing back surgery he was replaced by Thrones newbie Matt Shakman. Nutter’s original hiring might offer a hint at what's to come.
Although we can’t be sure what made Nutter the showrunner’s first pick for this episode, a look into the Citadel’s vaults/previous Thrones episodes may shed some light. Nutter has a track record for directing massive moments in the show, but particularly those gasp-inducing and slower-paced scenes. Nutter was selected to commit the Red Wedding to film in series two, plus Cersei’s walk of atonement and the burning of Stannis’ daughter at the stake in season five. All incredibly powerful scenes, yes, but not of the scale of Battle of The Bastards, for instance.
So we have to ask what “crowd-pleasing” moments await that could suit Nutter’s portfolio. Could we be in for another Stark family reunion? The return of Gendry? Do we even dare to dream of that elusive Cleganebowl?
However, while Nutter is known to make the best of emotional scenes, he’s also proved adept at portraying one of the most important elements of the show: Dragons. He helmed season five’s The Dance of Dragons where Drogon rescues Daenerys from Daznak's Pit, and the preceding episode where the same dragon delivers the Khaleesi to the Dothraki Sea.
Could it be that Nutter was originally hired for both sides of his Thrones skillset? Can we guess showrunners that David Benioff and Dan Weiss decided the director would be perfect to helm an “epic” dragon battle in his first episode, then follow its emotional aftermath in episode five? Or should we have learnt from Stannis that predicting the future of The Seven Kingdoms never ends well?
Whatever answers await, we've only got a few weeks before they're revealed.
Shes always used body doubles. Walk of shame was cgi head on body double as well .![]()
u could b right but why at this point...

that and then the dragon shriek (do dragons shriek?) to top it off
can't wait to rewatch it tonite in HD
idk if arya would be able to fuck w/ the mountain old or new...def not the new one after rewatching the "I choose violence" scene
*** do NOT read this spoiler tag unless you're @ghoststrike***
there are absolutely no realistic clues supporting the ice dragon theory...that's an actual spoiler as it's meant to be a pure surprise...those posters are fakes based on knowledge of that spoiler...HBO would not give something that huge away via promo poster...I suspect you've read the spoilers and trying to pass it off as a prediction...bcuz aside from the fake posters what clues have been present this season to suggest that??

Is Little Finger on Arya's list

Its not just the face that changes. I'm thinking the "changing of face" is figurative and not limited to the face being worn since it appeared that Arya had all of Walder Frey's physical characteristics, not just his face. Those were not younger smaller hands when she raised the glass
Also, going back to season 5, Jaquen also had a change of physical build when wore the face of a stocky African man. Being faceless, is not limited to the face change only. Everything else that morphs is mystical.
Where's episode 5 at?

dany not a bad looking chick. she used to be plan jane to me before...maybe its the assertiveness lately.
Respectfully, I'm leaving the spoiler tags on till the 10PM EST
So, why did,,,
Arya give LF that long stern stare? Refresh my memory
Arya give LF that long stern stare? Refresh my memory
I think in a non-surprise battle of foot soldiers, with no "air support" the army would win 7 times out of 10 because shit like formations and strategy, and armor tend to win. They'd take great losses but win. On horses those dothraki are mean as fuck so riding I would it give to them.
Unsullied I'm not sure about. They probably have more discipline than anybody and they are devoted to the queen... And have no dicks so they probably like fuck it...but their main weapons are spears and I don't like that.
Dothraki want no parts of Unsullied. They know how they get down
3,000 unsullied held off hordes of Dothraki in Essos

she was in king's landing w/ the pops...maybe she remembered something from back then...I can't remember if she heard his name while on her travels
*edit*
some are saying the time when she served tywin lannister...littlefinger was there to visit once...I vaguely remember that...looking for the vid
this vid raises more questions tho...I set it to play when he is announced...look @ how she tenses @ the name...I'm tryna to remember how is she familiar w/ him...anyway this vid could be enough for us to see why she's @ least now leery of him

She tensed up because she did not want to get caught. Remember that little finger knows all the stark childing. She was in hiding at that point.
