Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

Assist... The guy who chopped off Jamie's hand is named Locke. He was a mercenary for the Bolton Family.

As part of the Bolton plans to control the North... Roose & Ramsay send Locke out to kill the remaining male Starks, so they could never challenge the Bolton claim to be the Warden of the North.

Theon/Reek admitted to Ramsay that he never actually killed Bran & Rickon, but he did not know their whereabouts. So the Boltons send Locke to Castle Black. They figured Jon Snow was either hiding Bran & Rickon, or would know where they were hiding. And if Jon didn't have any useful information, then Locke would just kill him & keep it moving.

Locke befriends Jon Snow at Castle Black.

Soon he volunteers to join Jon on a 'stealth mission' to eliminate Karl Tanner and the rest of the fugitives of the Nights Watch who committed muntiny & killed Lord Commander Mormont & took control of Craster's Keep.

During all the commotion... Locke discovers that Bran, Hodor, Meera & Jojen are being held hostage in a cabin not too far away from the main house at Crasters Keep. So he tries to use all the mayhem as a distraction to kill Bran, but Bran wargs into Hodor and uses him to snap Locke's neck. Which ends the Boltons plans to eliminate the remaining Starks.

I saw all this shit happen and didn't realize that's how it went down.

Good recap

Answer me this cause I musta missed it. Dude(s) that took Jamie's hand off. What happened to them?

One of my favorite scenes

damn...scene is still gruesome even tho you know that shit is coming...in the blink of an eye

Basically fuck your (white) privilege you're in these streets with us

Jamie failed to realize he had offended Locke on several levels

I'm scared to read any posts in here, are cats really talking about the leaked episode when most people haven't seen it yet?

Seriously who the hell came up with the character name Dickon? I can't even say or type that without laughing

crazy shit is he was on the show when sam and gilly ate @ his family house...it was a different actor tho...I didn't remember the character @ all til I googled it to make sure that was really his name

Freddie Stroma explains why he’s not reprising the role of Dickon Tarly in Season 7

I didn't even think of that ....
That wouldn't surprise me at all. Qyburn has been helping Cersi to step her game up.

I always liked his character in a dark sith lord typa way. It is ironic that the Starks (Robb) saved his life and he ended up saving Jamie's life (infected hand) and being the best hand of the queen that Cersei could ever have. He was her real MVP.

Just finished ep. 4.....best episode to date.

Those dragons are weapons of mass destruction. It was about time though....we've been waiting to see them do this damage since season 1 episode 10.

I doubt any die during the battle against Kings Landing though...they are saving that for the war against the white walkers.

Ive been so wrapped up with the "main" shit that I didnt realize how much shine Qyburn has gotten over time. Good post.

I said earlier, I think the board is wrong about her not evolving. Bran doesn't want to be king. Jon will prolly get himself killed. Arya to Sansa is her only competition. That Is what the look was about. They all evolved, Sansa has become the ruthless one.

I don't even think that Jon wants to be king. He just knows what they have to battle against and has a duty to the living against the White Walkers, after that I'd be surprised if he stayed King of the North.

Actually, Sansa is the only one that truly wants to rule in the Stark family.

Ariya can't be queen being No One, and she took the vow to do so.

Arya is someone. The last thing she said to No face is "My name is Arya Stark and I'm going home"

Everything else you said Sansa doesn't know that

Originally when I watched that scene I didn't think much of it. I thought it was just a scene to show Rob's kindness. Hell, I forgot that he was Qyburn until you posted that scene. This shows again that there are very few, if any, wasted scenes or dialogue.

ON A SIDENOTE >> Any Game of Thrones fans in the Wash DC (or DMV) area been to this Game of Thrones-themed Bar, in DC? :dunno:

Looks cool. They even got a Weirwood tree hanging over the bar.

Washington meets Westeros. :D

in the cave Jon must have told Dany to unleash the dragons. Because she asks to kneel then before he answers they are walking out. And GOT never does the cutaway thing they show you what happened. Anybody got any theories? Because outside Jon advised against the use of the dragons.
