it's def watchable and I'm pretty much just as snobby as you when it comes to vid quality...it looked low on my cpu during the opening but I'm watching it on the projector now and the actual scenes look decent
 
Just finished.... and GAWD DAMN...

I don't know if it was not better then the Battle of the Bastards , The Watchers on the Wall, The Door, Blackwater, or the masterful... Hardhome. It is up there... I'd put it right up there in my top 6.

But there's no way that it is in the Top 3.

Just a matter of preference where folks will rank this one, imo. :dunno:

But I have a strong feeling that most fans will have it (somewhere :dunno:) in their 'Top 5'... at the least.

After 7 seasons, I think we can both agree that it's 'one of the very best' episodes of the whole show, so far. Regardless where you rank it. :yes: Literally.

But the last 20 minutes, or so, of this episode reminded me of Sonny... during the 'bar fight' in A Bronx Tale.

The only thing missing was someone in the background saying...

"Now yous CAN'T leave" :hmm:

I do think it's a great episode but can you really put it above... either Battle of the Bastards , The Watchers on the Wall, The Door, Blackwater, or Hardhome













 
This episode nearly every scene but one or two would be the best scene in most episodes - - not spoiling but looking forward to people's comments on Sunday -

Personally, I could slide this episode in, amongst the rest somewhere. :yes:

Mainly because... (without giving away too many spoilers) the 'sparring session' scene alone... was worth the price of admission, imo. :yes:

We waited SEVERAL YEARS for a scene like that, between those 2 characters. :yes:

fam this ep is up there w/ the best of them...I'm need to calm down before I rewatch it tho and rank it...off the bat tho it was def better than blackwater imo
