Ubiq is gonna be the come up the closer it gets to $1.00 :hellyea:

ya komodo is already under $1...I'm hoping UBIQ follows suit...they seem to typically move hand-in-hand...the lowest they both were recently was @ $0.65 ...still a ways to go

Any vids or threads that show how to get into this? Something that is not 1000 pages long.
Yes, I'm late...

I'm not even up on Komodo. Is that a good one to buy into?

there's potential there...still a work in progress...it's def not up there w/ STRAT and ANS or even WAVES for that matter tho...what made me look in their direction was the added native support the ledger blue offers for the coin...so it's in good company...

Ledger Nano S and Ledger Blue natively support:

...it's also the only relatively low-priced mineable currency that's consistently maintained a standing in the top 50 w/ a reasonable circulating supply @ around 100M

That Nano S looks like a good deal.

I'm going to start mining this weekend and was looking for a desktop wallet, but this would be better. Just wish it supported Siacoin as well.

You talking about the homie Rog from YouTube picks?

I was watching that one too. They pumped Linda coin last night right? That's actually a coin that has good rewards for staking. Like 100% return over 12 months. I'm watching that coin today myself actually but nah. These some Russian cats I think though

I'm a part of his "Elite Squad" over there. Got tipped early on Linda, Benjirolls, and Netcoin. Didn't put a lot in but doubled my money on 2/3.

Linda was pumped a couple days ago but it still has legs since the Chaincoin crew officially made it their plan B coin.

Shout out to the SEC for putting more FUD in the market

SEC declares digital assets can be 'securities' under U.S. law

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. regulators on Tuesday declared that the offer and sale of digital assets, such as initial coin offerings, are securities - a determination that could pave the way for enforcement actions if firms fail to register the deals.

The finding by the Securities and Exchange Commission was released in an investigative report into a virtual organization known as The DAO. In the report, the SEC concluded that the tokens being sold were securities, and therefore, must be registered.

The SEC said it had decided not to bring civil charges at the end of its probe into The DAO, but instead use the case as a cautionary tale for the market.

Seriously thinking about mining but I need to do some more research on costs. Don't know if it's been mentioned but how profitable would it be if one rented out an apt and ran like 4/5 rigs. How much would something like that cost to set up. Just equipment wise. I know a CPU reseller and was thinking bout A. Buying a rig or 2. And B. Getting all the ones that they break down to recycle and put together more.

Edit. Basically. How much would cost be to set up and how much would it yield monthly after a full run.

This will help you go in the right direction.
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining#/equipment

Mining is dependent on the power of your gpu(s). It's a massive gpu shortage right now due to do many people that started mining recently so all the prices are inflated. Good news is there has been a lot of people selling their cards due to the Ethereum POS switch coming up which will end mining for the coin.

I'd say a rig would cost you about $2,200 to $2,400. No one can tell you how much it yields because the market fluctuates but i will say a 6 GPU rig with Radeon 470s will get you about 150-160 MH/s on ETH. I currently run a rig with 7 470s plus my main PC's two 480s which gives me 225 MH/s. I dual Mine ETH and SC, before the drop I was making about $650-700 a month on ETH and $90-150 a month on SC.

Also, something to note, these rigs blow very hot air, I was also thinking about possibly getting a cooled space to place the rigs I build. I keep the one I have in a spare room and the room has to be somewhere around 80 degrees, very humid. Unfortunately it only has a small window. Also another thing to think about is electricity. I've chipped the fuse box a few times so make sure your place can handle the draw on electricity for multiple rigs.

That's a nice return there. thanks for the info. Going to go ahead and get started on this.

So whats the consensus after the dust settles from the fork... for the long term...

BTC will continue to skyrocket?

Only consensus is that there isn't one lol. Some are trying to force a hard fork with this new Bitcoin cash coin. A couple of exchanges are already trading it from what I've read. Everything is a clusterfuck right now. I'm just slowly buying what I want during the dips and hope shit keeps falling because everything will recover eventually. Patience is the key.

Buying in the dips. I'm finally learning. Feels so fuckin good to see green while everything in the red. Learning the charts is helping more than anything.

I think ppl are playing up the bitcoin cash fork to create/promote FUD and I hope it works...that being said it looks like a nonevent...there is no reputable exchange carrying it right now
