Kyrie Irving requesting trade out of Cleveland to find bigger role

NBA Insider Thinks Kyrie Irving's Dad Ruined Relationship With LeBron

Everybody is still looking for a reason what exactly happened with the Cavs.
Just over a month ago, this team was fighting for their second straight championship. Now, Kyrie Irving reportedly wants out of Cleveland. He wants to be his own player, not LeBron's sidekick. What possibly could have happened in that short span of time?

Apparently, it isn't the relationship between Kyrie and LeBron. It all started with Irving's dad. It isn't exactly a LaVar Ball-type scenario, but Irving's dad's feelings clearly caused some tension with the team.

Irving's father reportedly was often shouting from the sidelines that Irving should be the top dog, not LeBron James. Maybe that thought got to his head, causing him to reach out and pursue playing for a team outside of LeBron's shadow.

It looks like Papa Irving is going to get his wish, as the Cavs try to trade their star point guard in what could be the biggest move of the summer.

The Cavs is best to dump Love.
Get ready to pick up 2 players when they lose Irving and Love.

That's why Spurs need to get him....they got the most unselfish star in the league In Leonard....Kyrie would be the perfect player for them....it just depends on what they would have to give up.
have to give up?
lightweight the only thing the cavs would want from the spurs is leonard lol
niggas is not about to accept aldridge and no patty mills

I don't believe this shit one bit.
Anybody who got a dad is under attack smh

Trade him to Boston for it plus 2 draft picks. Give one of those picks to ny for Carmelo (throw in some clev players contracts to make the trade work)

Use the other draft pick to get a strong bench

Cavs would be:

Isaiah
Bron
Love
Carmelo
Tristan

Plus bench help.

They would definitely have the firepower to compete with Golden State. On any given night they have 3 players that can go off for 40 points. Plus Kevin Love.

It would make a more competitive finals.

IT is less than worthless if he's not ball dominant and scoring.... Melo is less than worthless if he's not ball dominant and scoring... Tristan can't score. Kevin Love is.... Kevin Love. This lineup is disjointed as hell with absolutely not continuity. Just because you throw names together doesn't mean it's a good team at all....

This team may not come out of the East. No true PG and 3 of the 5 starters are defensively liabilities like a motherfucker :hmm:

Bruh/Sis...

The warriors would shoot 70% against that line up...
On any given night going for 40 vs EVERY fuckin night giving up 120 ppg

I agree it's disjointed. But what about with Lebron playing the point, and distributing the rock to it and melo?

You don't think that could work?

Besides, who in the East is there to stop them?

The warriors were putting up 130 points on the 2016 Cavs. How many more points could they possibly put up?

This team is all about scoring. In order to beat the Warriors, you have to be able to put up 120 points a game. This team can do that.

A lot more...

IT on Curry... All bad curry letting him hold 40 plus

Bron on Klay... Klay gwon scrape his big ass off SOOOO MANY DAMN SCREENS bron would be huffing by 2nd qrtr

That leaves Melo. On Durant.... Enough said

Love on Dray... Fuck around and get a quadruple double

TT is alright

And this is all BEFORE and picks and switches

I'd 1 4 screen will all goddamn night melo/love would fuck around and quit. Mid series

Not at all. LeBron is getting older and cant sustain things the way he used to. We saw that in the Finals as he became less effective as the games wore on. To add players which would cause him to have to do even more because of what they are lacking isn't a good idea, especially because they unit couldn't defend anyone...

Your looking at these players in their current form, the balls not big enough and their aren't enough shots for each of these players to score big.

Also, none of these players are in the flow of the offense type scorers, but dribble the ball for 10 seconds type scorer which created stagnant offense. No way they score 110 because the offense isn't fluid enough. That's why it's dangerous to try to out 'names' together to try to beat GS. GS is a flow of the offense type team and it's hard to duplicate how effectively they score.

The unit you listed would get washed...

I agree with most of what you say above. But that still only adds up to about 120-130 ppg. stef cant stop it from scoring 30+ a game. Lebron will give you 30+ if he wants. Melo would give you 25, and love 15. That's already 100 ppg. If they can get 20 from the bench they're in every game.

I know what I just says goes against just about everything we all learned about basketball, but we're in a new era. The finals is going to start looking like the All Star game.

Is he gonna wash it down with his drug cocktail?

But you don't beat them by trying to out shoot them and run and gun them

Please every try and run the warriors to death.

Pop would not let him dribble the ball like he does.

One of those teams do not belong.....

As a basketball decision, it is the best option for a still young Kyrie Irving.

But this is definitely the first time they've made it to a major players preferred destination list, which is a major testament to what they've put together there.

And if Irving wasn't opposed to living in Cleveland on principle, there's definitely reason he is thinking about his future on the court more than off.

IT, Carmelo and two draft picks.

:hmm:

They are not getting two all-stars for Irving.

That's what folks fail to realize

That cavs line up would feature 4 1:1 players and TT who can't get his own shop. It would be a bloodbath against the discipline and ball Movement of the warriors
