Why wouldn't be beat the murder charge with time of death? This is a federal agent we are talking about; I'm sure forensic would verify everything, from bullets to time that Greg died; so with ghost saying he was in the club all night how could he have killed Greg? There would be camera footage showing he was at the club at the time of death; shit is really that simple :smh:

Because this show is created for dumb niggas

Because the writing (as well as the acting) on this show is terrible and seems to be getting worse.

The crazy thing about it is when the Federal government brings a case against you they have their shit in a row. How they gone think about a rico charge after he in fucking custody? They would of slapped RICO on him at the freaking beginning. It doesn't even make sense that he would kill someone to protect Tommy who they think is Ghost. What kind of half ass surveillance have they even done?

I wasn't going to bring that up, but you are right the Federal prosecutors are not bullshitting. They have a strong case before they bring charges and have conviction rates around 90%. I wouldn't really fault the writers for that though.

Yall missing it.
Angie threw this shit together and now they're stuck with it.

If someone else was running it yea they would have waited been rock solid
She did not
She arrested him cause she "believes " he did it
And now they're stuck with this case and have to make the best of it.

They weren't even on James at the time.

i'm watching the whole series again.

I'm at season 3 episode 4 right now and this show is not the best but it is pretty good viewing even though I've always said that the acting could be better and the writing isn't the greatest.

It's good to go thru it again all in a matter of a week or so.

I should be finished with season 3 by this time tomorrow.

Not in real life, but that might be what the writers want everyone to think. There is no chance that some bullshit like that is happening in federal court.

If this Kanan/Tariq storyline doesn't greatly impact the main storyline at some point, it will have been a huge waste of time, and possibly the worst aspect of the show.

They had a cliffhanger ending, and completely erased it it the first episode of this season, by saying the picture was a bad joke. That's poor writing.

4 episodes of bad writing. since when do side prosecutors go around making deals that aren't legit? meeting in back alley's and shit. how many times can Angela go rogue and she not get kicked off the case? even if ghost is convicted angela's actions would get him off on appeal.

She didn't make the deal she 'tried' to, and in the context of this story line, with her emotional attachment to Ghost, and the mix shes in with other elements of the case it is not a far fetched attempt: Critical thinking moment; she could be trying to get Ghost to admit to a deal instead of going to trial, where some of her shenanigans could be brought out during the trial, so getting Ghost to switch the focus on to Tommy could be a self preservation attempt by her, hoping he would 'take' he deal, and then she could spin it and sell it as an idea to her team, without them ever knowing she presented it to Ghost in the first place. Its called self preservation.

Also, I've had family members who were drug dealers back in the day and at times they met with attorneys in obscure places like that, especially in the context of how Proctor was meeting with Tommy in the context of the story line and the things he had to be involved with for Ghost.

the writing could def use some work...but it always amazes me how dudes are so quick to knock the show that they miss the most obvious hints/clues

Dre and Kaanan is slowly building. And not so much because of Tariq.
