I am quite sure this song is by Awilo Longomba from the
album Mondongo... But as I do not dabble in things
Awilo... I am not sure which song that sebene could have
come from

Oh you are welcome... I really have never heard the song before
as I am not an Awilo fan, although I have been to his concerts
and have met the man... I knew from tempo of that seben (=
the dance part of a song), that it very likely came from Awilo..
So I searched the album Mondongo (=local Congolese viagra)
and sure enough, I was able to find the song. The song Karolina
which I posted first is the most famous song on that album
and might be Awilo's most famous song which he has sung
from Los Angeles, to Sweden, Germany and even as far away
as Australia...It and apparently another, called Bundelele are
very popular on the Zumba circuit..

Awilo is now 53, being born when his father, Vicky Longomba,
was at the height of his fame as a musician, together with Luambo
Makiadi Franco in the 1960s..

He came to Europe in the 1980s as a drummer for Papa Wemba's
Viva La Musica, and then became a solo artist gaining popularity
in West Africa .,.

I should explain a little bit about why they were laughing
at the man...

The whole album as I said is called "Mondongo", which is
a traditional viagra.. This man saw Karolina who was very
beautiful and fell in love with her... he drunk Mondongo
that his "bird" rose and he fucked Karolina... But when
she had a child, the child looked white... and clearly was
not his... That is the genesis for the song Karolina, the theme
of the album and the dance calls in the songs

As for the dance, I have eyes. You posted the other girls as some meter of what's good and they don't look as good as she does doing it to me.

You do not know anything about Zairian dance. So you are not
qualified to judge. Bill Clinton's calls were for specific dances,
and I doubt that this lady realised that fact. And even if she did
I doubt that she would have been able to do the routines... See
when WE hear a seben, the calls conjure a video in our mind
in which we expect certain things to be done. If you do your own
thing, you are wrong

There is no way you would know this if I did not tell you...And
now that I have told you this, you still do not know what dances
she should have done because there is no way you can know

against you by invoking the support of or playing to
the sentiments of the people on BGOL, but there is
a truth that cannot be denied. The posters on this forum,
with the exception of Gametheory, know only what I
have told them about Zairian music. What someone is
saying or has said is irrelevant. Zairian dance is not
free form. The dance is called and you either know
the calls or you do not. It is that simple
