There is a difference between being open to and lobbying to... any self respecting star doesnt want to be a part of his passive aggressive bullshit and all that talk about him making people better, who has he truly made better? All I hear about is people bitching about his teammates and both Bosh and Love's games suffered once they played with him...

Well I don't know who's hated on Bron, green talk shit but who the fuck he don't talk shit to, his passionate ass was about to fight Steve Kerr ass....lmao so he don't count.

Bosh and Love games did changed but both have gonna to the mountain top a few times while playing with Bron...so that suffering was worthy it believe that(for them) for me the should have to suffer but that's a different story.

I'd don't know about that make his teammates better stuff either. I use to say that but it's more it's a better situation if you add him to the equation. Players mindset might change some but there yet to be a player who's skill level increased. I guess it more to do with dude don't have time to let them dudes grow(which normally means trial and error). He had to let kyrie see that. So I'm somewhat with you on that part...

Now he do make them better financially , his A1 when it comes to that shit...

Lebron makes his teammates better because of his impact. They don't have to do heavy lifting and they can just be them which makes them better.

But also Lebron plays better when everyone is dependent on him which is why he can lead some scrubs to something good and at the same time those scrubs can't get it done if he plays an actual team.
so that's the catch 22

Right that's why I say a scheme change is on him and Lue.

I'm not sure if a scheme would beat y'all but I know the way they play now takes way too much energy from two players vs having all part live and capable of getting reasonable attempts.
Y'all are the master at bad shot(which I don't even know of that should apply to yall) makers...
The cavs also have a few tough shot makers in JR, Kyrie & Lebron.

To me There's a different between tough and bad...

If they can't change players the only other thing todo is change your attacking approach....defensive they probably could try less switching(which probably don't help = step back pull-up when you going under or around the screener).

So i guess we'll see what new with them in a few months. Lue can earn more respect if he have them prepared to battle vs happy being there.

Reports: Toronto Raptors re-sign Kyle Lowry to three-year, $100 million deal

ap_17026584801605-e1486044157728.jpg

Kyle Lowry is remaining a member of the Toronto Raptors.
News broke on Sunday that Lowry would re-sign with the Raptors for a reported three years and $100 million. The news seemed to follow the signing of Serge Ibaka, who inked a deal with Toronto earlier on Sunday morning for a reported three years and $65 million.
Lowry, 31, had several reported suitors, including the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Philadelphia 76ers. Minnesota traded Ricky Rubio to the Utah Jazz on Friday, and signed Jeff Teague once free agency opened on July 1.
The 76ers meanwhile had already drafted Markelle Fultz, likely pushing the opportunity for Lowry out of mind. The Sixers signed J.J. Redick to a whopping $23 million, one-year deal on Saturday.
Lowry is coming off of one of his best offensive seasons of his career, even if it was a bit of a dip from his spectacular 2015-16 campaign. Keeping Lowry in Toronto was obviously a huge priority for Masai Ujiri, and now that the deal is done we will have to see what other moves Toronto makes.

With Ibaka and Lowry now signed, it seems as though some kind of trade will have to be made with the contracts on the roster. Particularly, DeMarre Carroll and Jonas Valanciunas, who eat up a whopping $30 million of space in 2017-18.
Toronto will also reportedly try to move backup point guard Cory Joseph, so it’s unclear about what their bench roster will look like moving forward. Toronto had an opportunity to grab the one seed in a down year for the Eastern Conference this last season, but failed to do so. With their main stars paid and a core going forward, it will be interesting to see how they flesh themselves out.
On one hand, the East has gotten significantly worse with the trade of Paul George and Jimmy Butler to Western Conference teams. The Cleveland Cavaliers don’t yet have a general manager, and we still aren’t sure at this juncture whether Gordon Hayward or anyone else will be coming to Boston.
While a locked up core doesn’t make the Raptors any better over last year — and a depleted role player unit doesn’t help them — it’s not as though their opponents are doing much in the meantime. Getting Lowry locked down was an obvious choice for Toronto and there’s no doubt fans in Canada will be happy to see him return.

after the contracts some of these other people are getting who are averaging 6 and 7 points a game.....Kyle is worth it......get ya money youngen.

I think their trying to get rid of Carroll but haven't found a suitor yet

Carroll played James well in his hawks days but PJ tucker would've been my main focus going forward I probably would've let Kyle walk highlighted Cory ass and resigned tucker ass...

They damn sure could switch shit up so the role players can get easier shots.
I don't get a fuck what anyone say, I've seen Pop steal a few solid minutes with Matt Bonner ain't no fuck way you can tell me Fyre couldn't get a few minutes per game. I don't care how limited he is on defense, that shit is unacceptable and mind blogging. Lue is a very young head coach so that's kool, but he better adapt quick.

The first 3 plays should be scripted, Jr off a double screen for 3, then a post touch for love. That should happen every fucking game, we ain't about to have 15 attempts on offensive and these cats haven't shot yet...fuck no
That's exactly how the warriors started every game before Durant

I feel that's why Klay struggled this year.
If they go back to getting Klay that first shot and involved early, it's dynasty time

Kyle wasnt getting many calls. Or better yet, calls from the right people. Him staying aint a good thing for the Raptors, imho, because he wouldve preferred to been elsewhere.

Wonder if he'll kick up dust and they trade him before his deal is up.

Carroll stole the Raptors money. Their GM should be ashamed.

I think it's a mixture of things on why he hasn't produced. He's been injured prone and the offense he flourished in (Bud ball) is totally different from the iso/pick and roll offense the Raps run.

Nick could provide instant offense off the bench....when he's hot

and people thinking Jodie Meeks will help? One he's hurt a lot. He hasn't been healthy since he left us. And he's streaky. The Wizards bench still sucks.

With all the rookie PG's and teams picking up PG's he had no market

Lowrey was NEVER going no where...

All these wannabe top 5 players

Scared of that spotlight.

But the want money.

Salute to the reals who have consistently represented since Day 1.

I remember when they said Curry wouldn't be a serviceable bench player.

Houston getting CP3 really fucked him...far as going west but he got his money
