Twitter user talks about 90s NY goons in Hip Hop

But notice you never hear any stories of 50 getting extorted I mean someone would have talked

That's what pretty much separates him from everyone else in the industry, the so called goons not gonna test him because he's dealt with real killas and still here to yap about it
he has been put under pressure and broken bread
if he doesn't pay the stalker he pays the guy that can get him off of his back
EVERYONE pays a tax on the road

Ja later saw 50 with the same dude who robbed him. 50 tried to dap Ja up but Ja left him hanging. 50 hated Ja ever since

* there is a lesson here. Just ONE quick decision completely and utterly altered the courses of not only these 2 men's lives...but DOZENS of people involved with them.

Decisions are way deeper than we even know

Decisions are way deeper than we even know

that ONE decision...

we ALL have moments like that.

That is try REAL hard to THINK before I cut someone off or diss them.

Imagine if Ja had simple pulled 50 aside and said Yo that dude is a snake, you riding with him?

And let us see what 50 would have done.

Imagine if those 2 has actually LINKED up?

50 probably would have NEVER been blackballed and possibly even signed with Def Jam thought his Onyx JMJ connections.

Or even Murder Inc?

but then 50 would probably never be the mogul he is now?

As 80's babies growing up during the 90's, why were the rappers we grew up to so much more precocious than the rappers of today? Was it because of the goons to some degree?

The legendary rappers Tupac and Notorious B.I.G accomplished so much before their demises. Respectively, they were only 25 and 24 years old.

Recently, I wasn't doing research on Tupac's killer, Orlando Anderson. According to members of the defunct Compton Police Department, this nefarious crip already had 5 bodies on him before being killed at just age 23.

At 21 years old, I wasn't thinking about going to places like Las Vegas to sneak in professional title bouts.

I guess that's why Kendrick Lamar was such a breath of fresh air to me. Before him, I don't recall any rappers talking about rigamortis.

Anyway, excuse the ramble.
