ok so how does the genesis mining work? do i need a super rig? im about to read about it tonight....

if i sign up I'll definitely use bro's affiliate link

can we talk rig building? can someone point me in the right direction on how to build a nice starter rig and then i can go from there....
ive built rigs in the past but im a little rusty...

dang
Initially back in Jan/Feb I was earning about 2 XMRs per week and I spent well over $1500 for that particular contract. Then when I made more money flipping, and seeing XMR rise from $18-$50 I decided to go all in and upgrade my hashes.

As long as BTC and ETH stay relatively around these prices, I make ~$1750 (BTC) and ~$1100 (ETH) a week.

I'm not trying promote genesis mining but I can only give you my experience and it seems like if you spend money, that's when you make money.

Here is what one full day of mining looks like after 95% of my hashpower allocated to BTC:

bro how much hash you got?

made back some of the money i lost on xrp... its hard to sell but time to say goodbye...

@badman32 put me on these. He seems to have a nice set up already up and going.

The biggest issue with setting up a mining rig like that is cost. Those graphics cards are supposed to cost $200-250 each, but because of the mining craze, they are sold out within seconds of coming in stock. Even if you can find one in stock the price will be $600-700 each. Hell, I'm going to try to find one in stock just so I can flip it on ebay.

That post was before I upgraded.
I now have
725 TH for Bitcoin
935MH for Ethereum
405MH for Monero

This is mainly why I didn't want to go down the route of building my own rig. Because the hashpower I wanted, I wasn't (1) willing to pay the utility bill for it (2) a shortage of GPUs and (3) afraid of messing up the software install. lol

I still might build me a rig just for the fuck of it. Something small and manageable. At first glance it was a headache trying to find the right GPUs I wanted, I got frustrated.

I got 2 RX 480s running in my main rig:

2 RX 470s running on a separate setup (WIP)
utTWXT1.jpg

And 5 RX 470s on a separate rig
wDBU2Ls.jpg

They are all mining ETH and SIA, altogether, monthly income value is around $1,600 for 9 cards running, the 10th should put me close to or over $2k a month. All cards were bought on Ebay, I stay between the $250-350. Not a big deal since the rig will pay for itself. Electrical cost is about $12/mo. per card, which to me works out less than cloud mining, especially if you lower the voltage of each card like I did so they don't consume a lot of energy. Altogether I get 213Mh/s on ETH and about 2,800 Mh/s on SIA.

That's whats up right there. Props on your set up.
Once I get my ROI (before Christmas), I just might go ahead and build my own shit. I been out of the game for over 10 years I still have the knack for shit like this.

Sold my INFX at .00024 on it's rise this morning. Happened when I was sleeping.

Now it's touching .00034

:angry::angry::angry::angry:
How do you fucking know which ones to get on? I'm sitting here fucking confused than a motherfucker. I got my money in but don't know what cryptocurrency to get on

Thank lsn for this one I bought 3000 last week.. I'm thinking about selling before it drops and rebuy

Props to whoever mentioned Antshares a couple pages back! $3.40 when I bought in two days ago, and now it's about to touch $7.

gene mentioned it a day before I went apeshit and sunk $12k into OK...that coulda been about 8000 ANS

Man, I'm on this thread EVERYDAY. Somebody mentioned it pages ago and I said fuck it

@largebillsonlyplease put me on to it when I first got back in the game. Very, very solid project man. When I first researched it, I said that a looooooooong term hold. They just announced a partnership with gamecredits to help bring things to China. More announcements coming this week at the Microsoft R&D center in Bejing.

It's called by some the "Chinese Ehteruem", but also behaves like ripple. You don't have to use antshares/antcoins to use the network(although antcoins are mandatory for some transactions). So banks can send fiat and just pay the fees with fiat while using built-in KYC/AML(which is what is hyped about ripple too). That's why I always thought it could be playing in the billions marketcap like ripple and ethereum.

Asians like to use their own shit.

damn i want to get to that level... im guessing youre flipping profit into more hash power... im thinking of doing both.... but like everyone says you gotta find the gpus and build a mega rig to even close to the cloud mining level lol

wow you bringing in serious change.... im going to look at that soon as i get home... i saw genesis mining a few months ago but was suspect on it... should have brought it up to you guys then.... smh

Just stay away from the ones I buy, the second I buy them they fall through the floor.:angry:

broooooo me too... they be holding strong and as soon as i buy a coin it just plummets hahahaha

we should charge everyone in here to buy coins they want to drop in price hahah

Yes sir I am. I'm still long on my XRP but I had to shave off some residuals in order to keep up with the pace of these ICOs. Then I said fuck it, what if I threw some heavy change at Genesis since they're doing me good? And as long as they don't cut the lights off up there in Iceland and Bosnia, it looks like this will be a profitable investment for the foreseeable future.

That "tunnel vision" (which seems to have been led by the OP) cost a lot of people.

I was pumping ETH in the thread seriously, when it was at $9, telling people to disregard XRP and was getting bashed heavily for it.
:lol:man I'm not going to lie, that shit was fun and funny as fuck. We all learned a lesson that we can build on for a lifetime

I'm an idiot. :smh:
I've been looking at Influx and QRL all weekend, while on vacation, waiting to get in while the crept lower and lower.
I get on a cross country fight and land to see Influx doing this. :suicide:

To be honest I do not know how that works.
The one or two days I had all my power assigned to DASH, I was getting very small amounts of BTC too.
