Serious question:

If you or someone you know had it done:

What are the cons involved with this procedure?
Any health related side effects, performance issues creep up, etc. ?

I had it done 2yrs ago. Zero side effects for me. everything feels as it always did, except now there's no such thing as pull out.

As for the procedure, it only takes 2hrs or so...from walking in to walking out. I wouldn't describe it as painful, more like very uncomfortable soreness. by the second day any feelings of discomfort were gone.

my doctor had me go through 25 cycles ( ejaculations ), then he sent me to a lab to shoot into a cup, results came back 0.00% sperm in the batter...and that was it.

Best part of it all, my insurance covered it! only had to pay the co-pays....best $30 I've ever spent!

Had no side effects; didn't even need the pain pills they gave me; kept some ice down there for two days on and off; was good to go by day 3.

Had to take two samples at 8 and 16 weeks; they gave you cups to use; I called them to tell them I was bringing a sample; they gave me a 2 hour window to bring it in for testing; I dropped it off and they called with the results within two hours; after week 16 with a sample showing no swimmers; was cleared to blast freely inside the old lady.

As far as performance; no change; even the day after the procedure; could have checked into the game if coach called my number, lol.

your dr. will explain the pros and cons to you as well as possible side effects. Or you can google. As for me, I had no problems whatsoever. Took about an hour. Day or two to heal with a bag of frozen peas at the ready although I didn't need them. I saw/see a slight reduction in output tho because cutting the vas eliminates a supply line. Performance is just fine. Just make sure the dr. cauterizes and doesn't just cut or tie, cause like Jeff Goldblum told you: life will, uh, find a way.

best move ever.

did it years ago... best decision on my life

i was in and out of the doctor's office in about and hour

ice your nuts for a day or so and you good

yeah doc told me to wait till the swelling went down.. bout a week then it was on

I got the no cut one. Not a lot of pain but I think I had some. I have seen a reduction in output. I like to paint the walls. Other than that no regrets.

2 years ago. No side effects for me. I went under general though because " those of you who read my post lol" bec he couldn't find my right nut vein bec I was born with a hernia. Went back tested sperm no more soldiers. I will advise you to ice yourself as much as you can big dog. I had no swelling at all as a result of icing. Went to Walgreens got a refillable ice pack and just binged watched TV for 2 days.

Every boy born should have one at birth. Having kids makes no sense until they revise these laws and give men more rights.

Potential side effects are premature ejaculation, long-term impotence, and prostate cancer. This procedure is being marketed to black men particularly as a black population control measure. Don't do it!

Had mine over 5 years ago after my 2nd child. No complaints, just follow the doctor's orders. He told me don't try anything for 2 weeks. I did it the second day, don't judge me....Nothing like working in corporate america with your shirt tucked in and looking like you're smuggling 2 grapefruits.

Did mine 15 years ago. Procedure took 15 min, in and out of the doctor's office in an hour. Did the frozen peas for two days. He gave me a balls sling lined with gauze (for cushion) to wear for a week. Got tested every two weeks until I had two consecutive negative results (took 6 weeks total) and I was good! No residual effects, load was less, but everything was cool otherwise.

I'd also add; if you normally wear boxers, the doc will probably tell you to rock boxer briefs for the days immediately after the procedure to ensure the boys don't move around too much. Listen to him. The Nike compression shorts are great and I highly recommend.

I did mine years ago.
No side effects.
I was told to sex with a condom several times to insure I was sterile.
I did a partial in case I changed my mind.

100% Cosign. Best 30 dollar co pay ever. Did it in 2001.
