you put him on a team that provides coaching for the 1st time in his career and he'll get better. he's not even as good as he's going to be next year. he's still figuring out how to play basketball correctly on both ends of the court his growth this year has been great so far.

I don't think Durant looks any differently than he did last year...he's just on a team where you're forced to defend him one on one... you can't play help defense like they could against him in OKC.. cleaner looks and he's the game's best pure offensive player. You take a 73 win team and then add a player that instantly becomes their best player and this is what you get.

He's playing way differently because of trust. Earlier in the year we lost a game to the Grizzlies we should have won. Why did we lose? Closing 5 minutes and such Durant went OKC. He went once he got the ball he didn't give it up he forced shots he didn't pick spots he tried to do it all by himself cause that's the way he was brought up coaching wise.

Fast forward to now he's making the right passes. he's giving the ball up knowing he'll get it back. that alone is a huge leap as to how he was taught to play by Brooks and Donovan.
It took him half the season to realize that he'd get the ball back if he gave it up and got to a better spot. That muscle memory was STRONG.

Come on bills...we're talking 4 olympics players in their primes...3 are going to go down as the greatest shooters of all time, one was a defensive player of the finalist and the other two are literally two of the best two way players in the nba. I'm not saying the coaching is non-important but it's a 73 win team adding a 4 time scoring champ and former mvp... the coaching staff would have to fuck it up..

You still have to win in the finals but I've always said I felt it was like how it is for the Patriots.. you have to win in the playoffs (and Super Bowl) but it doesn't hurt they're in that shitty ass division that they know they're gonna have won by week 12 every fucking season.

smart man...Im not sure if it diminishes it or not; im on the fence about it; but Im not impress at all by it; for them to be able to run thru the east; basically not caring all year until the playoffs; and with the way Boston and Toronto played them; and then for them to get possibly swept by the Dubs; yea, its not impressive at all to me....

You and others keep saying last year; what does last year have to do with this year?? absolutely nothing!!; GS isnt the same team in any way from last year; They have added 2 new starters and like 5 or 6 new bench players; thats a dramatic change; on top of that, they added one of the best players to ever play; drastic difference; and with that its not comparable in any way from last year; I just think people who do that arent really understanding the game
