Is anybody using the strategy of taking some of there XRP, like 15% to buy XVG?
A made a small couple thousand on the first xrp wave but its in my Kraken account. I was thinking about sending a small portion of my xrp to my bittrex account and purchase some XVG and then RED & SC

an hour max if you're lucky...shit was so busy on fri. my shit took close to 4 hours moving from kraken to bittrex...honestly what I'd suggest doing if you're comfortable w/ it is do a DGB to DGB transfer from polo to bittrex which should be faster then sell your DGB on bittrex for BTC
some have...myself included...the only variation is the percentage they dip into...obviously try and only take out an amount you feel comfortable w/

specifically bitcoin. but its a good idea in general to protect your investments offline if possible.

If I were investing fresh today, I would buy about 50 percent ether, about 20 percent bitcoin, and 30 percent various altcoins I thought were going to add value. That’s because you can’t buy a good index yet. When the index products come from Token Factory, I will hold about 30 percent ether and 70 percent index products. I don’t mind easing into these positions. I can buy now and watch for a dip to buy more, in which case I may have to pay more to get in if it goes up. BUT — we can count on volatility, so I plan to watch and buy more ether fairly soon.
yes @ your question...on kraken choose withdraw...then choose XBT (bitcoin) on the left side...enter the address that you got from bittrex...then give it a name (Bittrex wallet etc it can be anything)...then kraken will send you an email w/ a verification link that you set up a new bitcoin address to send bitcoins to...once you hit the link it confirms it...choose the address which will be now stored on kraken so you won't have to enter the bitcoin address from bittrex again if you choose to transfer more bitcoins...then enter how much you wanna send and you're good to go
sending BTC to bittrex took me 4 hours once...I sent XLM and XRP once each to bittrex and both transactions took minutes

My bad bro. I think the most important part I omitted was I did not send a wire transfer from my bank account, I sent some BTC over from my Coinbase wallet.
If you're having problems wiring money to an exchange, I'd advise you to go to www.changelly.com and buy you some BTC and send it to your BTC wallet on liqui. That should at least get you started. Thats the only option I can think of.
Send XRPs to Bittrex, then sell them, then use the BTC to buy whatever you need.
- choose 'new order'
- on the left side choose 'XRP/XBT'
- choose 'sell' and the button will change from green (buy) to (red)
- enter the amount of XRP you want to sell in the first blank field and it will automatically show you the estimated amount of XBT you'll receive in the last field
- hit 'sell XRP for XBT'
that is the faster option...only thing is I hate selling on bittrex...them muthafuckas are cheap as hell and they try to lowball a lot and manipulate the price...idk if it's just me...selling seems faster on kraken...also less complicated...there has been a couple of times on bittrex where it said a sale was cancelled but it went thru or one scary time was when a sale of mine was only partially filled but it showed as completed and I thought I got ripped off...took about 30 minutes to clear up...every time a sale got cancelled I hit the sell button to push it thru again...and I think I pushed it too fast when a sale hadn't fully cancelled so some shit got mixed up and their site didn't reflect that the entire sale had actually gone thru

ya I like WAVES...I had to choose between tricking off STRAT or WAVES to go in on verge tho...sold off WAVES since it's taking a little hit now...but ya I think it could hit a run like STRATIS

I scaled back a bit. Ended up with 850k XVG. Now space if you want to go ahead and cop a couple mili and bump that price a brotha sure would appreciate it!

I did that last week. I took out a lot of my XRP when it was 23 cents and Bitcoin was under 2k. Put some of the Bitcoins on Bittrex and bought Verge,SC and other coins. Even though XRP climbed back up, Verge and SC has been gaining greater percentages.
