Official BGOL Crypto Currency Thread ★★★★★

NIIIIIGUUUAHHHHHHHH My shit over on polo been saying pending for 45 mins....fuuuuuucccckkkk. I am afraid to hit cancel withdraw. I am gonna go to sleep and hope the shit is on bittrex when I wake up. They are on that bullshit.

However this is evidence that the whole industry is growing, we are on the ground floor taking all the growing pains. However, those are usually the folks who gain the most!
me too its been an hour..... smh

Man the mod in the chatbox just told me "this is normal we are trying to ensure the safety of your coins. There is no need to fill out a support ticket" He also said to someone else that all tickets are behind as they are overloaded with requests.

That's why I'm gonna chill on pulling them for now. I feel like if I withdraw I'm gonna wait another month for the shit to go through.
Polo is fucked up.

I tried to wire some money to gatehub, my bank couldn't find the bank that gatehub is using to in order to do the wire. They are using some bank in slovenia. Kraken is also giving me problems adding new bank acct to their systems, so I can't even use them at the moment.

Man my btc cc purchase on Sunday from bitstamp is still on hold. Simplex just emailed me this morning saying that an analyst has to manually approve it and it may take 24 business hours. I should've gone with coinmama smh.

I did mine of sunday using bitstamp, and just checked today and it's approved.

Do you keep any of your Ripple on Gatehub? I just migrated a small amount of mine from Poloniex, but I can't say Gatehub is moving to swift (site seems bogged down). Though my transfer completed in less than 5minutes. I'm trying to find the safest place to rest my Ripple until I can order a Ledger Nano S. ADVICE needed and welcomed.

I know you asked ace rich ass fam but I'll say I do have my XRP on gatehub until I get my Ledger nano. It's decent I think the layout is kinda ugly but they XRP for the low also so you can just stack until your ledger arrives. I think Kraken is pretty safe too...well safer

Appreciate your input brother. How exactly do I purchase additional XRP through Gatehub? I'm having a difficult time deciding their charts and what not. I have a lot of criticism of Polo but it was easy to use.

I think you go on the exchange tab and you can flip so that on the left side is your BTC or whatever your using to buy the XRP and on the right is how much XRP you will get.

You can select "all available" on the left so if you just want to use all the BTC you have on gatehub to buy XRP you can

glad to hear. Did you get the same amount of btc you ordered Sunday? It's gone up since Sunday. Worried about three card shuffle game.
Yes, gatehub and bitstamp are most safest places to keep them per the OP. Because bitstamp is regulated and gatehub is supposedly ran by ripple labs. But I'm having the hardest time wiring money to them for some reason. To be honest, I didn't keep up with the rates man.

That's why I keep saying this shit reminds me of the web in 1997. The processes are archaic, slow, and lots of the shit doesn't work. I had to sign up for 6-7 places just to get enough bitcoins to do the transactions I needed.

I have. I sent some to my Ripple offline wallet. Think link to download it was posted in here I think about in the first 10 pages.

Yea I downloaded the link from Ledger even tho I don't have my Ledger nano s yet.

I'm taking a huge chunk of my shit off all of these exchanges. Never know when a coin you forgot you bought into and you have like 10Gs that you can't get because you don't have high enough tier of verification

Where are you gonna put your coins? A different online wallet per coin? This is the issue I'm having, I don't want to my 13 coins all over the internet in diff wallets because my cold wallet only supports 5 coins.

yeah i have to wait 3 days
but waiting has me missing a whole bunch of shit

I live in NYC. I have chase.
IDK how much you trust a BGOL member ( papi68 can vouch for me as he is my lawyer )
You can chase quickly me and ill buy you bitcoins on coinbase and send it to you instantly.
think my daily limit is $1000.

there is another member who posted a few pages down that he would be willing to go to a bitcoin ATM and do the exchange.
there are a few here by me so i can do it but the fees are on you.

All of the coins that are supported will go on my Ledger. I'll still keep small portion out in the exchanges. But not enough that if something was to go down I would lose hundreds of dollars.

I actually only use two exchanges and have 3 "Wallets"

My Exchanges:

1.Bittrex: I've gotten so fed up with Polo that I pretty much know how to get around on Bittrex.

2.Polo: I'm moving the rest of my coins today but I do like their night mode and their overall layout. I'll still use it to watch the market but I'm not gonna be doing any business with them until they get their shit together.

Wallets/Where to keep coins online:

1.GateHub: I have Gatehub at the top because they are pretty much exclusively Ripple and that's how I got into the crypto game. I also but XRP from them since it's cheaper there.

2.Kraken: The interface is bland but I've never had a problem with them and that's.probably because they actually put alot of work on the back end rather than trying to look fancy.

3.BitStamp: I use them but I'm not a die-hard like the OP and other on here. I guess they would be legit since the verification process can be a bitch

OK, can someone or the OP update a list of promising coins on the main page or something for those who missed ripple at 0.006?

Still you should buy ripple. It's got long term value.

And it's a group effort OP can't do all, hell if you see a coin dirt cheap call it out on this thread
