I damn near cried at the airport scene...I saw my entire child good imagination on the big screen...amd it was Oscar worthy good.

That is why bad films as much as I want EVERYTHING ON SCREEN? Make me wish there could be a little less content.

Love those joints but I don't go out of my way to see them all. There are a few Marvel films that I never watched (or finished) because I lost or had no interest.

There are still regular action/blockbuster films put out, hell, the most recent Fast Furious film is over a billion now. That Alien film, the Transformers films, Jurassic World a few years ago, the Planet of the Apes films, etc...

Comic book movies are for the most part money makers, which is why they are everywhere.

I would say I understand your complaint. However, your complaints, imo, points to understanding this genre to a superficial depth . Likely, or rather thoroughly, you've never looked or been exposed to beyond the surface. Given access to contemplated the themes that inherently resonates in this genre. Truly and honestly that's a shame because that's where the magic lies!

man i learned how to read at 4 so i could know what was going on in a fantastic four comic book and haven't stopped since. i'm glad they are doing them now instead of doing them back then because they wouldn't have been able to pull it off. plus for non comic viewers, stories going back to the 60's is literally new territory for movies.

I am not judging people who are still into comics, video games and comic movies. I was merely stating a fact that I lost interest in those things once I became an adult. I would have never thought that I would lose interest in playing video games, but it happened. I used to be really into music, but I am not as much into it as I used to be.

Priorities change, man. I ain't mad at anyone who is into comics, comic movies and video games. We all have passions, hobbies, etc. But, those things do change as we progress through life. That is all I am saying.
