as i said in another thread..celtics/showtime era lakers and celtics only met 3 times in the finals..the pistons won 2 rings and the 76'ers also won a ring..so even though lakers was a dynasty and so was the celtics it wasn't guaranteed they both would be in the finals..hell a rookie hakeem made it to the finals during the showtime era with ralph sampson
