How did they find someone that is more of a smarmy bastard than Spicer? Spicer's a numbskull, but I at least get the impression that he realizes that he's talking out of his ass. There's a small bit of charm attached to him feeling the futility of his own words. Sanders sounds like she actually might buy her own BS.
she skates by on charm - she has been poorly prepared and is not smart enough to stay ahead of the reporters
she keeps being caught in obvious lies and sometimes gives away info that is even more damaging
I bet she will do her best to avoid appearing on Morning Joe or going one on one with the tougher reporters for a while
This has been building for decades with repugs redistricting, control of state congress and passing laws that serve the racist white conservative agenda. Throughout, they've had virtually no organized resistance, culminating in the apathy of the last presidential election. That's why I can't get too excited. These mfkrs have been entrenched for years and they're not about to give it up without a fight. The kind of fight we saw in the 60's. And they learned from the 60's. They rewrote shit to remove avenues that threaten their control.

Right-wing media is still behind Trump, and it's still highly influential. Trump probably has a 35% base of support he will never lose, regardless of what he does.
