***Official NFL Draft Thread***

You right. I heard today they said he was at The Star practicing and shit. He's not letting these dudes catch up to his game.

What intrigued me about Dak was when he was selling himself.....he didn't say he had a great arm or who he was fast or any of that shit. First thing out of his mouth was "I'm the smartest QB in this draft...."....Never heard anyone use their football IQ as a selling point........and you can tell.

Yeah the draft was solid.

I said with everyone they let go they were gonna have to revamp the defense and I Thought it was gonna take a few years.

In one draft they may have already revamped it.

Factor in that Jaylon may be ready and Charles Tapper may be ready.....the defense is gonna be young as fuck but damn is it gonna have some potential and youth to it.

I will go with a B+ as well. I really hope this goes better than when we drafted all those DBs like Goodrich and Kareem Lattimore. I hope these guys come in ready to compete for starting roles from Day One. I think Noah Brown is going to be a sleeper pick, but I said the same thing about Danny Coale..

I understand that, but we wouldn't need to draft one,if Elway gotten one in free agency.

Elway put all his hope on Romo getting released, while top notch tackles were getting signed. He knew before free agency this year's linemen wasn't good and yet he put everything on hold so he can get Romo...makes no fucking sense at all.

What top notch tackles we're out there?

I know man.....if we play the odds about 2 or 3 of these players are going to be contributors. I hope it's more but man nobody gets lucky enough to lose a secondary and gain a whole new one within a year. But I'm
Hoping they did. They sure grabbed some great prospects.

Agreed, but I'm hoping the D-Linemen exceed expectations and we're able to get a better pash rush due to having David Irving, Lawrence, and Charlton...that will give the DBs time to get settled in. Also, leaning on the run even More will help cover up any deficiencies we have with the Defense.

Lawrence better get on his shit man he got one foot out the door. Irving better get more consistent too.

My Eagles grabbed Corey Clement as an UDFA... Pretty good pick up IMO...

Local kid too. Good pick up for the birds.

All I have to say to the NFC teams that doesn't have 3 good corners and safeties to cover good luck stopping the Bucs and Giants.....:smh::smh::smh:

Giant's will be a tough cover. Mismatches everywhere. You have to get to Eli fast and take advantage of that Oline.

Y'all needed a linemen and got the best tackle in the draft. Can't complain about that. He's 25 or 26 but that's light with a tackle. It would be different if he was a running back.

People complain about not having an offensive line and then complain when one is taken in the first round. Broncos needed to take an OL early.

IMO, a lot of black Qb's suffered due to playing on shitty teams. Jay Cutler was out here at one point playing with Matt Forte, Martellus Bennett, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey's......Carson Palmer at one point was playing with Rudi Johnson, TJ, Ocho, Henry and Gresham...........

What Mike Vick had in his prime was disgusting. Just disgusting. Vince Young was no different. He had Chris Johnson but man his wide receivers were not up to par.

But shit has changed drastically now. Dak ended up on a stacked offense, Deshaun Watson is ending up on a stacked offense

Yeah. Dak, Watson, and Winston got talent and then the panthers invested in some weapons for Cam in this draft. Best thing for watson was the bears reaching early and then the run on WRs... helped him go to a good team

Exactly...

It still bothers me... I mean dudes Record is 30-17.

To be on the real... I think Vince just game out just a little too soon.

Now almost every team in the league is running the offense that we were running in 2006. Back then the Read Option was a gimmick and now even Peyton was running an extremely modified version of it.

If Vince came out now.... and was throwing the way he was after that year on the Bench... He would be a hands down Number 1 pick.

Horrible the way they did him and you got bums like Barkley and Sanchez still collecting checks.

I agree FAM these trades Rarely Work out... Honestly I can't remember the last time this has worked when it comes to QBs, but 4 picks to move up 1 spot is insane and this draft had defensive guys that the Bears needed in the 3rd and 4th.

Yeah and that's what's pissing me off even more, this draft was loaded with defensive talent. You could have continued to build a great defense but no, you are taking a huge risk with a dude who started one year and he was average. There is nothing special about him. Watson I would get because at least he played more than one year and accomplished a lot but Trubisky doesn't deserve to be the #2 pick in the draft. You take a project at the #2 pick who will not help you at all this year. Like Shannon Sharpe said what other position will they do that at......Shit is a joke bruh! As you can see I'm still heated.....:smh::lol:

Carson Wentz trade gave Browns nine players, two more future picks

BEREA, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns heard about the Carson Wentz trade throughout the 2016 season.

When all is said and done, the Browns were able to pile up a number of players -- two yet to be determined -- as the answer to why they made the trade.

The Browns used the picks they got from the Eagles in five more trades that added even more picks and players.

Here is the result of that deal:

The Eagles got Wentz.

The Browns got ...

That's nine players and picks in the first and second round in 2018 for Wentz.

Omg......Wentz better be the best qb in the league for all that.i think the Browns will always suck until they change their losing culture. But they making the right moves.

You mean it doesn't matter who they draft?

Shit I thought that's what the draft and trades was suppose to do. :dunno:

What is this browns culture that keeps them losing?

Rudolph isn't bad. Evans should have definitely stayed but will get signed somewhere. Noil was a major recruit but looks like nothing more than a special teams player. In the vids that I saw even when he caught a TD pass he had little to no separation from the CB.
I don't know how to feel about the Bears draft. I'm not happy but I've seen worse. What they gave up for Trubisky is my main issue. I've heard good things about the TE, Jackson is solid and I assume that the kid from NC Central is a special teams play cause he's explosive. Apparently they worked with the lineman at the Senior Bowl this year.
The fact that they ignored WR is an issue. Would have liked another CB as well. Right now those DBs they got last year along with Ben Bauneker and Daniel Braverman better really develop before the season starts.

Not at that size bruh. Punt returner/Darren Sproles

Mahomes is im the best spot. I've seen Andy's work with Mcnabb and Vick.

Watson I don't trust Texan coaches haven't seen him develop one QB all does is fail when trying to groom Qb's.

Dobbs has the most talent around him.

Kizer lol will see if hue can develop him.

Kaya well his a 6th rounder probably won't make the team.

I believe thats the real reason they were trying to big-up trubinski, if not than the 1st 3 QB's drafted would have been black or melanated men.

Of course that's why

It will continue to happen but black QBs will continue to thrive as well

The coaches at the amateur levels are trying to win

And they are where the NFL gets their players so they can resist but really have no choice but to follow

The great white hero QBs are all getting old and on the way out the NFL

you think Dobbs got more talent than Watson? Watson got the best defense in the league. He throws a pick..........his defense gonna give him the ball back. Got Lamar Miller and Deandre Hopkins.......got Braxton Miller and Will Fuller developing.........

IF you gonna be white and play QB you better be able to move like Wentz does.

Eli Manning type cats are getting phased out of this shit. You can't be a statue and play qB in this league. You better go be a place kicker or some shit.

How do you feel the Raiders did in the draft? Also, are you familiar with any of the undraftes free agents the Raiders signed?

That's why it was a "weak" QB draft :smh: ...... and they still took the worst one first because he was white. The QB we took in the 6th round is probably better than Mitch.
As a Browns fan there was no one happier that Chicago took Mitchell trubisky than I was. This guy has bust written all over him in jailhouse tattoo ink.

I could see that shit and it's surprising how many people couldn't. I was hoping someone, anyone made the mistake of picking him before the Cleveland Browns good and the Chicago Bears did. This guy is Christian Ponder or Brady Quinn I'm not exactly sure which
